HELP! My mom, Sassie, and were kittynapped and were being held for ransom! There we were, living happily with our human mom when all of a sudden, BAM, we were here with a whole bunch of other captives! Well, I guess it’s not really a criminal enterprise, ‘cause most of the other guys here seem pretty happy (considering it’s not a REAL home), so maybe things will be okay in the end. Right now, I’m a bit frightened, but with time, I know it’ll all come right. Mom said I’m really a playful “people cat” who’s “cuddle crazy” and affectionate, so with time to adjust, I’ll be able to prove that to you!

If ever there were a poster boy for NOT letting your cat outdoors, I’m it! You don’t even WANT to see my “before” pictures, because trust me, they weren’t a pretty sight! I’d been roaming a local neighborhood for a month, getting handouts from a kind lady, when one day I came back injured so badly it was hard to even tell I was a cat (I’d like to say “you shoulda seen the other guy,” but he couldn’t have been worse them me!). It was touch and go for a while, but I’ve endured weeks of treatment, gotten TONS of TLC, and what’s emerged is one of the sweetest, most lovable guys in the world. If you come visit me, I’ll bet I’ll be the “hearttugger” that wins you over!

It was a scary change, but I’ve been a brave big brother (I was protective of the teenagers at home, too), and Daisy is the loving sister with whom I happily share my run, food and life. It’s a miracle that I’m still around to tell my story, ‘cause you wouldn’t BELIEVE what I’ve been through! I was found in Amado with a HUGE puncture wound in my belly (think javalina tusk size!) that had practically impaled me, and a dislocated leg! The vet wasn’t sure I was going to make it, but I knew there was a plan for me to have a way bigger and better life, so I bravely weathered my treatments and pulled through. Well, now that’s all behind me, I’m on the road to recovery, and half-past ready to start from square one with you! I’m a sweet, 2-year-old boy just made to be a lover – YOURS!

Stargazing can be all kinds of fun, but that’s not what my friend Aquarius and I were doing when found near the Whipple Observatory. We were lost—scared and hungry. Once here, though, we quickly made friends and now Aquarius has a home of her own. That leaves me alone, but maybe not for long. I’m a very loving dog, who thrives on giving and receiving attention. A 1-year-old Hound/Lab mix female, I’m naturally responsive to the person I’m with and already fairly good on a leash. When spending time with a senior citizen, I was good with her and with boys ages 8 through 13. Seems like I’d fit well into lots of different households, including the active and fun loving. So what do you say? Could we share a happy future together?

This year I had a wonderful vacation—a stay with my foster mom and dad. We had a great time being together. They called me gorgeous and puppy-soft, and frequently brushed my coat, which I loved. (They brushed my teeth, too, which was, well, okay.) I’m also a big fan of exercise; going on walks with them was a daily treat. Foster mom noted that I wasn’t always friendly around strangers or other dogs, but I listened to her well and responded quickly to commands. (They called me smart!) In their yard, which has a 5-foot wall, I didn’t try to get out, and inside, I showed that I’m kennel- and house-trained. Being in a happy, loving home was a dream come true. Would you give me a chance to be in yours forever?
