What do you do when your human dies and no one in the family can take you? You come to The Animal League to meet your new human(s)! And that’s just what I’m doing. In my previous home, I was very sweet with people. I’m friendly and come to volunteers to be petted and brushed. In my previous home, I got along fine with dogs but wasn’t particularly fond of other cats. However, I get along with other cats in my room here. Well, mom died and now I need a new home. The thing about me is, I’m BIG. I need a big bed and a big-hearted person to match up with. I am used to kids and other cats, and I’m affectionate yet independent. For the last seven years I slept with mom. I’m a little subdued as I get used to my new surroundings here, and I like to sleep on the floor in the catio where it’s nice and warm. The volunteers pay me attention but I don’t seek it. Maybe I’m still in mourning. How about it, can you give me something to smile about?
