Hi… my name is K.C.
Adopted August 13, 2016
My siblings and I were born right here at The Animal League! When Mom was expecting, volunteers guessed she’d have three babies, maybe four, but on May 20th—12 days after Mother’s Day—she gave birth to six of us! Yay for Mom! Of course, back when we were really tiny, eating was the biggest activity of the day. And it’s still important, but now we’re playing, too—running and tumbling—and exploring the great big world. (At my size, everything is great big!) I’m one of the boys, dark brown with white markings, and when I meet new human friends, we often find each other irresistible! I’m in foster care right now, but my friends at The Animal League can tell you more about me, and we all invite you to visit today.

Of course, back when we were brand new and really tiny, eating was the biggest activity of the day. And it’s still important, but now we’re playing, too—wrestling, running and tumbling—and exploring the great big world. (When you’re our size, everything is great big!) I’m one of the girls, mainly tan with white markings, and I’d love to meet you up close and personal. Be prepared, though, because we may just find each other irresistible and that could lead to a long, happy life together. Can you visit today?

My name, Precious, tells you what I dream of being to someone wonderful. My previous person gave me to a stranger in a parking lot because he couldn’t take care of me anymore. He said neighbors had been feeding me, but they wouldn’t do that much longer and so I needed a new place. My hopes are high that it will be the most special kind of place—a home full of love, where I’ll fit right in. The volunteers say that wish will come true because I’m a really sweet dog, eager to please and easy to love. At 2 years old, with a soft chocolate-brown coat and just under 50 pounds, I’m a young, fun-loving female, who’ll gladly answer to any name you choose as long as you call me yours forever!

Karanda comes with FREE Vet Care for Life
Okay, if you want to be factual-like, I have to be up front and tell you that I much prefer adults to children and I am very persnickety about litterbox cleanliness! That being said, I’m a lovely tuxedo lady with gold-leaf eyes (and come with Free Vet Care for Life), who can be independent one minute and purr my way into your lap the next (you know, like a cat!). My dad said that I’m a really “fast runner” and sleep a good bit (again, I’m a cat!) — so I guess I sometimes go from zero to 60 in under ten seconds! My dad couldn’t afford to keep me any longer, so I’m looking for a quiet home where I can live out my nine lives in peaceful bliss. I’ll bet your place would be just the ticket!

My friend, Ringo, and I lived in the same home for years, but when our human mom realized she couldn’t take care of us anymore due to her own health concerns, she showed us her love once more by letting us go to find new homes. I’m a 7-year-old male Dachshund, extraordinarily good-looking thanks to my smooth silver dapple coat. Past treatment has left me very leery of men, but I love being with women and children, and I’ve been reported to be good with cats and other small dogs. To make you smile, I’ll sit up on my rear legs and be as cute as I can be, and here’s hoping that’s enough to make you want to come visit me today. If so, we just might find we’ll be great together forever! (revised bio needed)
