Athena and Zena are sweet and social 9½-month-old bonded female siblings who need a new home as owner was allergic to cats. Athena is a beautiful silver tabby and Zena is a striking brown tabby with apricot highlights. Athena is very active, playful and curious whereas Zena is more calm and relaxed. Both are very social and love people; they are good with kids; other cats and dogs are unknown. They would enjoy sleeping next to you if allowed. Since these beauties are tightly bonded, they should not be separated.

My world changed when my person died last year. Another family member took care of my brother, Hobo, and me, but they couldn’t do that long-term. So coming here to TALGV was another big change for us, but you know how resilient dogs can be. Given a little time and kindness, we once again find the good things in life, and that’s what I’ve done. I’m a 5 1/2-year-old male, an Aussie mix with a beautiful tri-colored Aussie coat; mainly a golden tan color with some black and white. I’m a very playful, good-natured shepherd (except with cats!). If you know Aussies, you know we’re happiest being devoted companions to our people. And if you don’t know Aussies, please let me introduce myself to you! You might just love what you find in me!

I’m such a loyal dog, my person was unsure how I might feel about her new baby (not here yet but on the way). My previous family had found they’d no time for me after their new baby was born, so I’ve been down this road before. But that’s okay. I’m capable of loving lots of people. In my last home, the 11-year-old child and I got along “great.” My former person described me as “very sweet…a very good girl” and said I love to play, which is so true! I’m a 5-1/2-year-old American Bulldog female who’s happy trotting by your side on a walk, chasing a ball, or even going for a run. I know “sit, come, stay,” and how to love with my whole heart. May I give my heart to you?

THREE-MONTH-OLD SWEET, PUG-HEELER MIX MALE PUP needs new home. He is sweet, friendly, energetic, social, and affectionate. He is in good health and has received shots and certificate from TALGV for free neuter. He is used to other small dogs and older kids, but cats are unknown. This smart little pup was born on March 23, 2016. House training is being started and he is learning quickly since this is prime time for it.
SNOW is a 10-pound boy who is very active.

Okay, I guess if you want to be picky, at 20 pounds you could call me “chunky monkey,” but that really wasn’t MY fault – my mom just fed me a lot and what was a guy to do? After she went into the hospital, the neighbors cared for me for a while hoping she’d be coming home, but when that didn’t happen, they brought my housemate (and maybe sister), Lox, and me to TALGV for “rehoming.” I’m pretty anxious at the moment, as things have been so helter-skelter in my life for a while, but I know with patience, tempered with a lot of love (and probably a diet!), I’ll show you how sweet I’ve always been. I came to TALGV with three other 6-month-old dogs, so I’ve had good company. We were not as lucky in the home department, though, because our original family couldn’t keep us. So we’re here now, where each of us can find a forever home. I’m a Lab/Terrier mix female, about 32 pounds, with a beautiful tan and white coat. At 6 months, I have things to learn but already know how to play with balls and toys, get along well with others, and was gentle and tolerant when given the chance to be with children. Home is a dream now, but I just know one magical day, someone wonderful will look at me and say, “I want to meet that dog,” and then we’ll both fall in love. Could my wonderful someone be you?
