ROX is a playful and cute 3-year-old black and white terrier mix. She is just 19 pounds worth of sweet personality. She was rescued by owner who has several pets already. She is up to date on shots and has been spayed. Rox is good with kids, cats, and other dogs. This special girl would love to learn how to please her new family. There is no adoption fee.

It’s wonderful the way people are extra sweet to me because I’m 13 years old. But, between you and me, there are lots of great things about being an older dog. Like my appreciation of simple pleasures—easy walks (I’m very good on a leash), long naps, and gentle touches from my person are more than enough to make me happy. I’ve long since learned the importance of good house manners, and here’s another really important thing: I come with free vet care for life! A busy parking lot is a dangerous place for dogs, so my buddy, Thelma, and I were super grateful to be given a ride away from there. Now that we’re here, safe and sound, I’m enjoying meeting lots of new people. I’m a Sharpei mix female and, yes, some people are drawn to that special Sharpei look, but I like to think my biggest asset is my own unique personality. I’m a delightful 2-year-old who’s calm and attentive, genuinely interested in making friends; if you’re kind to me, I’ll meet you more than halfway. On a lucky day for us, my buddy, Louise, and I were rescued from a dangerous spot—a busy store parking lot—and brought to this safe place. Back then, I was too skinny, so I’ve been especially happy with the regular meals around here! And there are more good things—we go on regular walks, I have dog buddies to run and play with, and I recently did something extra special: I earned the AKC Canine Good Citizen certificate! That award was given thanks to my excellent performance in the behavior department. So yes, I’ve made friends and done well here, and I’m hoping that makes me your kind of dog! I’m a Hound mix female, and I want to be the Hound dog who loves you through all the good times ahead.

I’m a three-legged dog and for me that’s a good thing! My other leg had multiple fractures, so I’m better off without it. Yes, I’ve been through tough times, but the great news is that I did make it through! When I lift my little chin now, I see people smiling down at me, seeing all my good qualities and letting me know I’m safe and with friends. Even so, I’m still shy and I am very afraid of cats, but with gentle people I get to know, I’m a sweetie who just loves to cuddle! Imagine how grateful I’ll be for a calm and comfy home with someone who’ll love and care for me forever. I’ll be the best little companion you could want!
