My friend, Jenny, and I were two lost Shepherds! Being together was better than being alone, but we were still lost and you know what that can mean for a dog—hunger, thirst, and very possibly danger. Fortunately, a kind stranger took us in and then brought us to TALGV. In that short time, she could tell that I’m a very loving and affectionate fellow. You can probably see it in my eyes; that sincere good-natured look is genuine! I’m black and tan with white markings, a Shepherd mix male, about 2 years old. Like most Shepherds, I’m eager to learn and really enjoy being close to my person, so we could have lots of great times together. If you agree, won’t you please tell TALGV that we want to meet each other real soon!

When you’re just a 3.2 pound dog like me, the world is a great big place! It was very scary, too, when I was lost. Fortunately, a kind person found me hiding in some bushes, which wouldn’t have kept me safe for long, so I’m grateful to be inside and protected. Of course, what I want most is to be loved, so I’m hoping someone wonderful is reading my story right now! I’m an 8-year-old female Chihuahua, brown and white, with a very dear little face that shows you how much I need a forever home. When I was lost, I tried finding a home by just walking into someone’s yard. They were kind to me there, but they already had all the critters they could handle. My next stop was TALGV, and I think my chances of finding my forever home are much better here. I’m naturally friendly, so I enjoy seeing visitors and especially love walk time. No need to ask me twice to have fun—I’m a young and energetic girl who can run and play with ease. I still have things to learn, but I’m so eager to please, I’m sure you could teach me. At 40 pounds, with a shiny black and white coat and a happy disposition, I just know I’m perfect for somebody. Please let it be you!

I was alone in the desert until a kindhearted family found me. I really liked the little girl who lived there. They said I’m “great with kids,” and had fun playing with the family dogs, too, except the one that didn’t like me! In fairness, I didn’t like their cats. One other thing they noticed: I’m in need of love. Training, too, but we know training goes best with lots of love. I’m a 40-pound female Heeler/Hound mix, black, white and brindle in color, with bright eyes to show how much I’d love to see you. All rooms were full when I arrived, so I’m in a boarding kennel, but TALGV can arrange for us to meet. Just give them a call, and then just imagine how happy we’ll be to see each other.

My siblings and I were found abandoned in a dog food bag in the middle of a road. Thankfully, we were all okay, and oh so happy to arrive in our spacious TALGV room! Here, the volunteers take care of all kinds of puppy basics for us—good food, exercise, medical stuff, and our first lessons on how to be good puppies with people. I love playing with my siblings, and I’ve also come to really like people, too. When I see their faces at the window, I hope they’re looking for a puppy just like me: a Shepherd mix male, mainly black with tan and white markings. Could you be the one to give me my forever home?
