SASHA (Xatia) is a cute and sweet mini Staffie mix who was inherited but can’t be kept by new owner. She gets along with other dog but cats are unknown. She knows sit and would learn quickly. She was housebroken in the past but could use more training now. Her shots are up to date and she will be spayed courtesy of TALGV. Sunlight

Hi… my name is Sunlight.

There’s nothing like having a name that you live up to, and boy do I do mine justice! Someone adopted me from PACC a while ago because I was micro-chipped, but the lead didn’t pan out, so I’m here waiting to spread some sunlight in YOUR life! A woman in the Villas East fed me on her patio for about three months, but winter was coming, and since she wasn’t “in the market” for a feline (she had a small dog that I got along swimmingly with though), she brought me here. She said that I was very friendly (well, food and a lap you know!) and she was sure I’d be a wonderful (indoor only please!) companion for some lonesome person. If that’s you, come let me purr sweet nothings in your ear!

Hercules

HERCULES is a very smart, energetic and sweet 72-pound 1-year-old Staffie mix who was rescued from the streets a few months ago by people who have other pets and are unable to keep him. He is housebroken and is an inside/outside dog. He walks on leash and has learned the command “sit,” but finders have not had much time for training so he will be happy to be rewarded for his efforts at learning more to please you! He loves being with his people but other dogs, cats, and children are not recommended. Finders believe Hercules would be best as an only pet. He is healthy, neutered, and up to date with shots. There is no adoption fee for this handsome boy.

COOKIE is a cute and sweet 2-year-old terrier mix who was left behind with her pups when tenants moved away from rental home. When my mom and dad moved back east to care for aging grandparents, they decided not to take me with them because I wouldn’t get the time and attention I deserve. Although it might take a bit for me to get comfortable with new people, they said, “He is a ‘true love’ once he gets to know you and loves to play and give kisses.” I’m a handsome, leggy, young tan and white shepherd mix who enjoys dog parks and spending time in the house with you (I’m crate- and house-trained, walk fine on a leash, and know the basics of good deportment). Like most “teenagers,” I need a “job” to do to keep my lively mind occupied, so if you’re the active type, I am too — and we’d make beautiful music together!

“Hanging around” sometimes gets you food and sometimes it gets you rescued. It did both for me! The lady who found me would have kept me in a minute but she already had too many other pets and felt I needed a home where I could get a little (OK a LOT!) more attention. She said I was a “really good cat” who wasn’t crazy about having my back or bottom rubbed, but loved head scratches and will meow for attention in case you need a hint. I’m a handsome young mostly white boy with a few “blushes” of gold in my fur just to show you how precious I am! In addition to black, white seems to be the “in” color around here these days, so why not “accessorize” with both?

When the Sahuarita police found me wandering in Rancho Sahuarita, I was wearing a pink collar with a rabies tag but no other ID they could trace. So now’s your chance – grab me quick! My foster mom said that I am perfectly house-trained, walk nicely on a leash (when there are no rabbits or other dogs to check out!), and respond well to “no,” so since I’m eager to please, she’s certain I’ll be easy to train. I get along with other dogs, like riding in a car, and, well, I’m just an all-around real sweetheart! I’m an 18-month-old, 34-pound heeler mix who’s probably done most of her growing, so “what you see in what you get” and it’s a really great package too!

DENNY is a very smart, energetic and sweet 45-pound 8-month-old shepherd mix who was rescued from the desert by people who have other pets and are unable to keep him. He is housebroken and asks to go out. He’s good on leash and has quickly learned the command “down.” He enjoys other dogs and young children but can be a bit shy of new people and things. Cats and crates are unknown. Denny pays close attention, is a fast learner and loves typical puppy playtime. He is healthy, neutered, and is up to date with shots. His coat is a beautiful black with white accents.
