Hi… my name is Budger.

Adopted April 18, 2016

After being rescued from a motel room (it’s a long story), I’m super grateful to those helping me find my forever home. One is my wonderful foster mom. She understands I’m so shy that sometimes I can’t be friendly with new people. But once I get to know you, she says, I’m a “Major Snuggle Bunny!” She’s shown me the joys of living in a home, and praised me for learning house manners so quickly. I’m getting REAL good at meeting new dogs, being sociable, and learning to become comfortable with new people.  I don’t “do” cats well, but with people I know, I’m a lovable, sweet boy; a 70-pound, yellow Lab/Staffie mix who’d love to get to know you. If you feel the same, TALGV will call Foster Mom and we’ll meet soon!

Arrived April 3, 2014.

Hi… my name is Clyde.

I was adopted on April 18, 2014.

A couple found me a while back and although I was microchipped (someone cared about me once it appears!), they couldn’t track down my owner, so they had planned to keep me. Unfortunately, I didn’t get along with their male dogs (or their cats either, truth to say), so they felt that I needed a home where I was the only canine (or at least the only male). They did say that I was an “excellent dog,” am housebroken, walk well on a leash, and enjoy human companionship more than anything. I’m a young and handsome mix of yellow Lab and shepherd, and although I’ve not had any formal training, I think it would be fun to learn a whole bunch of new stuff with my next family. When the thought of adding a big, strapping guy to your world pops up, I’m hoping you’ll give me a look.
