Hi… my name is Carmel (aka Socks),

My mom said that I’m a sweet, playful, and downright gorgeous lady who loves to be around her person. (Carmel was my name here at TALGV when I was adopted almost three years ago, but I was renamed, because, well, you can guess!) Unfortunately, when my dad died, mom really needed to get some semblance of order in her life and because of health problems, could no longer care for me (or my sister, Avila) like she had before. In my first home, my people trained me to sleep in a crate and I was okay with that, but I’ve learned to much prefer cuddling up with a human at night, so if you’re the kind of quite older person (no little kids please!) who likes a “bed buddy” (or two), I’m made for you!
