When I was lost, running down Nogales Highway with another lost dog, my immediate needs were basic: A safe place to rest, food, and—number one—water. I was so thirsty! When someone stopped to help us, I was shyer than the other dog but equally relieved to be rescued from the road. Then came another tremendous relief: Settling in here with my own water dish, regular food, and a comfy bed. Now they say that for me—a guy who’s a sweet combination of shy and friendly by nature—there’ll be an even better place: A forever home, where love lives, and I can be the devoted companion to my favorite someone ever. I’m a 1-year-old Staffie mix male, black with cool white markings, 60 pounds, handsome, lovable, and oh-so ready to be yours.
