Hi… my name is Carnie.

I was adopted September 4, 2014.

I’ll bet if you know how amazing Border Collies can be, you’re wondering how a little lady like me ended up at “the pound”? Well, it’s a long story, but suffice it to say I’m glad that I’ve now been “relocated” to TALGV! I had quite an ordeal along the way, so I’m a little reserved at the moment, but I’m sure with lots of TLC and a modicum of education, I’m going to do my breed proud! I’m only a few years old, so I’m looking forward to the all years ahead I’ll be able to spend proving you made just the right decision when you took me home!

Hi… my name is Tango.

I was adopted on April 29, 2014.

My sister, Gizmo, and I lived with our mom since we were born on May 17, 2005. Sadly, her health now dictates the she needs to move back east to live with family, and we weren’t able to go along, so we’re hoping we’ll find another wonderful person to spend the rest of our lives with. We’re Border collie mixes and here’s a bit of what mom said about us: “Gizmo and Tango are like Siamese twins and have never been apart from the moment they were born. Even though they’ve only been around each other, I think once they meet another dog, they’d be fine.” Neither one of us is very fond of thunderstorms, but if you take us both (which we are really hoping you do!) with your help we can comfort each other during the monsoon season, and then we can have the rest of the year to be just plain wonderful companions!

Note: Because of my age I qualify for TALGV’s Senior Vet-Care-for-Life program.

We’re beautiful black and white Border collie mixes, and here’s a bit of what mom said about us: “Gizmo and Tango are like Siamese twins and have never been apart from the moment they were born. Hi… my name is Harleigh.

I was adopted on May 25, 2014.

My dad went into a memory care facility and my long-time girlfriend, Honey, and I were left alone in our home for several weeks. We had a yard and a doggie door and a neighbor who came to feed us, but we were still awfully lonely so we were really glad when TALGV came to our rescue. We’re living with a foster mom at the moment, and she really thinks it important that we be adopted together because we’ve become so dependent on each other. I’m a 56-pound Border collie mix lady who is in terrific shape for my age (I still love to play ball — a border collie trait if there ever was one!), and if you’ll let me, I’d like to sleep on the bed with you, too! We’re both housebroken, good with kids, and just generally laid-back girls, so I know that we’d be a great addition to any family.

P.S. Because of my age I qualify for TALGV’s Senior Vet-Care-for-Life program.

I’m a plus-size collie/Chow mix lady who, despite my size, loves to cuddle and give kisses. I’m on a Jennie Craig diet at the moment, so when I get back down to a “misses” size, I’ll be able to snuggle with you even more! Harleigh and I are both housebroken, good with kids, and just generally a laid-back girls, so I know that we’d be a great addition to any family.
