Hi… my name is Paris,

Adopted 12-18-18

Here at the Animal League, most of the dogs have interesting stories to tell: They were found in a wild yard, or their people moved, or sometimes they share a tale of adventure. But not me. I’m pretty much a blank slate. Still puppy age—born about February 2018—I was found when a kind stranger picked me up and I ended up here. Today, I’m an adorable 21-pound, black and tan female Manchester Terrier mix (we think), and definitely a fun-loving girl. I’m usually a confident pup, too, glad to join in playtime with any friendly person who’s willing, and eager to learn the things puppies need to know. And all the time, I’m watching hopefully—eager for a home of my own, a happy future, and someone to love forever, like you!

Hi… my name is Piper,

Adopted with Abigail June 3, 2016

I’m here at TALGV with Abigail, my canine BFF, because our person wants the best for us. Due to health issues, she no longer can give us the care and active lifestyle she wants us to enjoy, so we need a new home where love and fun abound. I’m a 4-year-old tan and white female, about 70 pounds, and—per my DNA test—mainly Weimaraner and Manchester Terrier. I’m leash trained, have good house manners, and know “sit,” “down,” and “come.” That’s important stuff, but you should also know that I’m affectionate, sweet and playful, love stuffed squeaky toys, and I also love Abigail. We want to stay together. So if you can love us both, we’ll double our efforts to make sure you’re happy being loved every day by your grateful doggie duo!

Hi… my name is Merry.

Adopted January 29, 2015.

After visiting the ophthalmologist, they determined that I’m blind and probably have been for quite a while. The doctor said that I’d need eye drops for life to keep my eyes comfortable (but that shouldn’t be an issue since at 10 years of age I come with FREE Vet Care for Life — and eye drops are easy!).  My “disability” doesn’t bother me at all, and I adore walks and am an “excellent lap sitter”!  I was fostered for a few days and found my way around the house just fine.  I should really be an only dog, and everyone agrees I’d be perfect for an older person. My “personal classified ad” might read: “senior dog seeking senior human for companionship!” Why not let it be you?

Merry comes with FREE Vet Care for Life.

Arrived December 8, 2014.
