I’m a gentle, thoughtful girl who prefers to take life at a slower, quieter pace. I was feeling a bit scared when I was first brought to the shelter, so I spent some time in a calm foster home with an older, laid-back dog while I decompressed and figured things out. I may not be immediately ready to interact because it takes me some time to warm up. I believe in boundaries. Shy dogs like me need time to build trust and that trust is worth waiting for! I learn best by watching the world before jumping into it, taking notes from the sidelines. With patience, kindness, and consistency, I know I’ll come out of my shell.
