Sam

Hi… my name is Sam,

Adopted 5-16-20

When I was found in 2018, my next stop was TALGV where fortunately, a short time later, I was adopted. Now my family is moving out of state and can’t take me with them. They mentioned that I was good with children, but I do tend to play a little too rough. They also said I ask to go out when I need to. I know my name and some commands (sit, stop, and no). I’m a very strong lad so naturally I will need a strong, take-charge person that can handle me on our walks. Some extra time and training would be beneficial. If this sounds like you, please stop in and meet me. I’m that good-looking American Bulldog boy that’s waiting patiently for you.

Hi… my name is Amanda,

Adopted 1-23-20

I was considering stopping in at the Mini Market in Amado to check out their dog food, but before I could act on it, I was rescued. At TALGV I became acquainted with many loving people. After some training and a field trip, it was reported that I was a good houseguest and I appear to be housebroken. Even though I don’t actually ask, I wait until I am taken out. After a while, I walked pretty well on a leash, but I’m still learning. If I jump up or do something I shouldn’t, I can be easily corrected with “no” or “leave it.” I would love to be a member of an active, loving family. I’m waiting for the right fit. Are you looking for me?

Hi… my name is Izzy,

Adopted 1-22-20

I’m a good looking, dare I say handsome, young fellow. My family left me and my sister, Daisy, on what was supposed to be a temporary basis. Guess what? You guessed it! They never returned. A lady took care of us for three months and when it was obvious that we had been abandoned, we were brought to TALGV to find us a new home. We are both, and I quote, “sweet but untrained.” Even though we were not considered leash trained, I heard that some walkers were happy to see how well we actually did. We have lived outside on fenced-in acreage since we were young, so we’re really looking forward to a comfy indoor life in our near future. If you would just come and visit and meet us in person, I believe you’d like what you see.

Hi… my name is Daisy,

Adopted 1-19-20

Like my brother, Izzy, I too am good looking, or should I say pretty? I thought our family was only going to be gone for a short time. That short time seemed like an eternity. Even though we were abandoned, we were, thankfully, taken care of. We even got used to children being around. As my brother says, we are “sweet but untrained,” and, oh yes, we would probably be happy to learn for someone who would be willing and patient. Did I mention we are pretty good on a leash, and that we both enjoy our daily walks together with friends? Now, three months later, we are once again in a different home. A good place for now, but we both want a home that means forever.

Nisey is an affectionate, well-mannered, and playful 53-pound, 1 ½-year-old female mostly-Lab mix that was recently rescued. She is housebroken, asks to go out, and can use doggy door. She knows basic commands and is leash trained. Nisey is healthy, has been spayed, and is up to date with shots (medical records available). She gets along with other dogs and has lived with a cat. There is no adoption fee for this quiet golden-eyed girl. If you will welcome Nisey into a loving home as part of your family, please call Charles between any time at 520-255-0750.
