Hi… my name is PJ (aka Triumph),

I was adopted as a puppy, then later returned for being “too much puppy.” Could I be anything else BUT a puppy? I think not! Since coming back, I’ve aced my basic manners and leash training from my two- and four-legged friends. I was lucky enough to be in a foster home where I proudly demonstrated I’m house trained, crate trained, and even learning to ring a bell when I need to go out. I know all the commands, take treats gently, and walk like a pro — though I might occasionally zig-zag like a bird dog on patrol. I’m affectionate, calm, playful in bursts, and always keep an eye on my people. Basically, I’m a 5-Star Dog. Want proof? Check out my foster “Report Card” below. I’ve mastered “How to be the Best Dog Ever 101.”

Hi… my name is Bingo,

My siblings and I were found alone in the desert when we were seven weeks old. We were brought to TALGV, where the volunteers fed us, loved us, and took care of us. In return, we have given them so many puppy kisses that they can’t help but go home happy. It’s time for a permanent home, though, and they want me to tell you what a special puppy I am. I am a sweetie who will probably be a medium-sized adult. I already know how to sit, and I’m learning to walk well on a leash. I have met kitties here (scary!), other dogs (fun!), and so many people (and loved them all). My card is almost full—I just need a new home with loving people to be able to say “Bingo!”

Delilah

Hi… my name is Delilah,

I’m Delilah, a gentle, affectionate girl who’s ready for a fresh start. I love exploring the world and make a wonderful walking or hiking companion, especially on crisp mornings. I’ve met a few other shelter canine residents through calm, guided introductions and did quite well. When I see other dogs on walks, I can get excited, and with continued training I’m learning to focus on my handler and take reassurance from my person. I know several commands, including sit, down, and place, and I’m fully house and potty trained. I’m a happy, wiggly soul, so a home without young children would be best—I sometimes forget my size when I’m feeling joyful. I thrive with kind guidance, routine, and love, and I’d be so grateful for a home to help me shine. (1-26)

Ever heard the expression “turnkey?” It’s the perfect description for me. Don’t worry about me needing work—I already know how to ask to go outside when I need to, walk like a lady on a leash, and ride well in the car. I love to be loved, but I’m not a needy girl, and I’m happy sleeping on my bed next to yours. (I mean, if you’ll share the couch, I’ll probably enjoy that, too, and my compact size means I won’t take up much room.) I’m not a pup anymore so I like to spend my time relaxing and dreaming of chasing bunnies. Even my lovely, shiny, short coat only requires minimal maintenance. I am sweet, affectionate, beautiful and ready to start my new life with you. What more could you ask for?

Looking to live the big dog life in a manageable package? Look no further than me! I love to play, run, walk on a leash, and nap. I love travel (especially if a pup cup is involved) and sunshine. I play well with other dogs and enjoy life with a doggy roommate. I am confident and outgoing; I don’t bark very much, and my finder said I was well-behaved in the home. I’m pretty much everything you could ever want in a big dog, but I’m a compact 30-ish pounds. I pack a punch—of snuggles, that is! I am a ball of sunshine in a little package, and everyone says that the right family will be fortunate to have a pup as easy-going and happy as I am. Will you be the lucky ones?
