Foster mom sings my praises! She says I am quiet, rarely bark, ride well in the car, play well with my toys, and like to sleep on the bed but will stay off the furniture unless invited. A sweet snuggler in quiet times, I’m a good walker, too—can easily hike a couple of miles. Plus, I’m housebroken! So why do I need a new home? My person went to college and left me with her mom, where I didn’t get along with her two dogs—I would not share toys or food. Since I’ve been afraid of men, too, my ideal home will be as the only dog for a woman who’d love an adorable little 17-pound, 2-1/2-year-old companion—a Spaniel mix male, who’ll happily follow you everywhere and love you back forever!

My finder said that one day I just walked into their yard. We don’t know how I came to be lost, but I was lucky to have walked into that yard because those kind people brought me here. (I might have stayed longer with them, but I was way too interested in their cat.) I’m a young Staffie/Boxer mix female, and at 43 pounds I’m small for my breed, but mighty; that is, kind of strong and mighty cute, thanks especially to my beautiful gray and white markings and adorable ears. My finder said I was quite comfortable in a crate, which can be helpful, and very people friendly. I’m sure you’re dog friendly, so we could be a perfect match—for happiness, for love and for laughter. I’d love to be yours forever.

There may be a fascinating tale about how Bonnie and I ended up on the side of the road (Duval Mine Road), but our headline news is that we were rescued! I’m a 1-year-old Husky/Heeler mix male, black and white, with 1 blue eye and one brown, and you’ll quickly notice that I’m a three-legged dog. How that came to be we don’t know; maybe that’s how I was born. In any event, I get along fine in my own way, and I’m a happy, friendly guy, who’s grateful for Bonnie. She cared for me when I had no one else in the world, and we’d love to stay together. We know it will take someone special to adopt us both, but it could happen.
