Comes with FREE Vet Care for Life

Two years ago, I was a gift to my owner, but today, in her new, smaller home, there’s not enough room for me. (At 74 pounds, I can cuddle up nicely but cannot become tiny.) Plus, her cat and I just didn’t get along. So now, at 9 years of age, I’m looking for my forever home, and bringing something extraordinary with me: FREE vet care for life! Of course, I hope the thing you like best about me is my friendly, pleasing personality. I’m great company on walks and at home—a fellow who gladly enjoys the “let’s take it easy” way of life. So if you’re the wonderful someone who has room for me in your home and your heart, please let me know today because you’re the one I’ll love forever!

Hi… my name is Dusk,

Adopted 4-21-17

My sister, Dawn, and I were rescued just in the nick of time! We were found on the side of Sahuarita Road—two little 7-pound, 2-month-old black Lab puppies, who didn’t know where to turn. But we’re safe now—the awful things that might have happened didn’t—and judging by the oohs and aahs from volunteers and visitors, we’re even popular! Of course, we’re still very young. Since you’re reading this, I’m guessing you already know the things that pups like me need to learn. My question is, could you be the one with the time and patience to teach me? I’m a male, a sweetie, who has lessons to learn and lots of fun to share. Maybe you can show me what it is to be loved, and to have a home forever!

Hi… my name is Gary,

Adopted 6-21-17

I’m a happy, friendly dog who’s grateful to be here because not long ago, I was hurt. Back then, I suffered the trauma that threatens every stray dog: I was hit by a car. But I was also lucky. A Good Samaritan rescued me and immediately took me for medical care, and now we can celebrate my remarkable recovery! Plus, I even made new friends along the way—the animal hospital staff gave me high marks for “adoptability,” which I think means they liked me, and TALGV volunteers agree. They say I have the makings of a great companion—a smart and loyal Heeler mix male, 1-year-9-months old, about 62 pounds, with a tan and white coat, a handsome face, and a great big heart. If you’re looking for a friend, I’m right here!

Hi… my name is Harley,

Adopted 9-21-17

When I was lost, I tried to help myself by greeting my finder when she arrived home that night. As she got out of her car, I walked up to her and did my best to be friendly. She described me as “very sweet.” The next day, the TALGV dog coordinator also described me as “very sweet.” (Must admit my intake sheet used two more words as well—“needs bath”—but we’ve taken care of that.) My finder had no idea where I belonged, but I do: I belong with someone who wants a dog who’s friendly and sweet, playful and happy, eager to be a loyal companion. I’m an 18-month-old black and white male, about 55 pounds, and if you say I can be yours, that’ll be the best news I’ve ever had!

Hi… my name is (Mr.) Thor,

Adopted with Sheila 7-17-24

Friends call me “one great all-around guy.” Smart and friendly, I could be your cuddly, sweet buddy, too. At 4-1/2 years old, being active keeps me young and happy; I love to run and spend lots of every day at play. And I can be great with other active dogs in the family—more fun for all! In my last home, we learned I get along best with older teenagers and adults; I form strong bonds and if my person isn’t “boss” enough, I’ll want to protect them. I know commands like “sit,” and walk well on a leash. Plus, in addition to other dogs, I’ve lived with a lizard, turtle, and even cats! So if you have an active lifestyle, won’t you please add this great all around-around guy to your team!  (4-2017)

Hi… my name is Finn,

I’m a happy, fun-loving puppy, and my time spent lost and alone didn’t change that. I was a young stray—no collar or tags, without a home or a friend—when I wandered into a stranger’s yard. Since I got along with their dogs (a Heeler mix and a Schnauzer), they kindly let me stay for a week, but when left outside, I did jump the fence. Now I’m here, and although I still need a home, I’m having fun: I like going on walks (and behave myself very well on a leash), love being with people, and enjoy all the compliments about my sweet nature and adorable looks. I’m a golden color male, probably a Retriever/Spaniel mix, and cute as can be. Could I be the one for you?
