Hi… my name is Zero,

Adopted with Spike 1-9-18

My brother Spike and I are going to make our new owner very happy for a long time! Two years ago, we couldn’t move with our people because their new landlord didn’t allow dogs. Our person who adopted us back then is now moving out of state and cannot take us with her. Thankfully, Spike and I have always had each other. We’re Wirehaired Terrier/Chihuahua mixes, two little love bugs who love each other and our people. Indeed, cuddling with my person is my favorite pastime! We’ve lived with a single person, and with a family with children, so we’ll fit in almost any home. We hope to stay together as we have a great time romping with each other, so please double your fun and double your love by taking us home today!

Hi… my name is Nemo,

Adopted 8-28-16

Our people had good things to say about my Chow friend Honey and me, but they had to keep us tied up and knew that wasn’t good for us. (They’re raising farm animals and had to keep us away from the chickens and turkeys.) We were both “found” dogs, so we’re grateful for the years with them and appreciate their good reports, like when they said that I’m loving to people, gentle and tolerant with children. I’m leash trained, and love to play, run, and fetch. Please come see me and give me a chance to show you what a fun-loving guy I can be. I’m a 5-year-old black and tan Rottie mix male, a real handsome guy with a happy zest for life. If you take me home, you’ll be my hero forever!

Hi… my name is Honey,

Adopted April 10, 2016

Our people had good things to say about my Rottie friend Nemo and me, but they had to keep us tied up and knew that wasn’t good for us. (They’re raising farm animals and had to keep us away from the chickens and turkeys.) We were both “found” dogs, so we’re grateful for the years they took care of us and appreciate their good reports, like when they said I’m loving to people, gentle and tolerant with children. I’m leash trained, so walks are excellent exercise, and I love kids. Honestly, I’m happy to have fun with any good person who’ll play with me! I’m a 9-year-old red Chow mix, a beautiful female who knows what wonderful friends people can be. Visit me today, and let’s see if we can be happy together forever!

Hi… my name is Bella,

Adopted February 25, 2016

I thought I was home forever, but then life threw us a curve. My person’s health issues meant she couldn’t take care of me any more, and so I’m back at TALGV (she adopted me here two years ago). Good thing I’m adaptable, right? Granted, I am shy, but always eager to get over the shyness because I love lots of petting and cuddling. I also like to play (if you see the orange pig, that’s my favorite toy). I’m a sweet 4-1/2-year old Fox Terrier mix female, mainly white with cute brown touches on my ears, and will just say “little” because I’m on a diet right now. My house manners are excellent, I walk well on a leash, and if you give me the chance, I’ll be your happily devoted companion for life!

Hi… my name is Aires,

Adopted April 17, 2016

I was found by volunteers at the Buenos Aires National Wildlife Refuge. There were no other people around, so apparently I’d been abandoned. Why that happened to a sweet, lovable guy like me is a mystery, but I’m glad to say that’s my past story! Today, I’m a happy, playful fellow; a 1-year-old Lab mix, about 48 pounds, with a honey-color coat and soft brown eyes. I find fun in every day; I like to play with my toys, and sometimes, when people stop by, I make happy sounds to show how glad I am to see them. (My human friends say that’s just one cute part of my charming personality.) Come for a visit and we’ll have fun meeting each other. Take me home and you’ll have a loving, devoted companion for life!

Hi… my name is Sasha Lee,

Adopted July 14, 2016

I’m a Great Dane mix, but not a giant. At 75 pounds, dog people call me “large” (I hope you like that size), and you’d think I’d be hard to lose, but that’s what happened. Fortunately, I was found by a very nice family with 6 dogs and kids ages 7-16. We all got along, but space was understandably an issue. They left me at TALGV with lots of nice words, saying I was “very sweet, loving, caring, snuggles; a very good dog who deserves a good home.” Isn’t that nice? Truth is, although a little shy, I love almost everyone. Guess that comes from my great big heart, and if you say that’s charming, well, I won’t disagree. And if you say “come home,” well, you’ll make me the happiest big dog ever!

Hi… my name is Chevy,

Adopted April 8, 2016

I was adopted as a puppy* and spent five years with my family, but when a recent job transfer required a big move, they had to leave me behind. We were all sad to say good-bye, and it’s extra tough for me because sometimes I’m scared of new people. Given a chance, though, I warm up and respond to kindness with kindness. In my previous home, I had fun playing with cats and other dogs, and have always been happy to go on walks. I’m a black and tan Lab/Heeler mix male, who’s used to family life and loves one-on-one time, too; a great fit in almost any household. Please don’t pass me by just because I’m shy. Just think what a grateful, loyal and happy friend I’ll be if you choose me!

Hi… my name is Valentine,

Adopted March 13, 2016

I’m a young little dog, but when some really tiny ones were in trouble, I was a lifesaver! Three puppies were born to a mother dog too old and sick to care for them. Their survival was at stake because they wouldn’t take bottles in foster care either, and that’s when I arrived. No one knows where I came from; it seemed a kind of miracle. I’m a beautiful 1-year-old Staffie mix female, only about 26 pounds, who’d just given birth. Sadly, my babies weren’t found. But I was ready to be a mother, and willingly nurtured those three puppies who desperately needed me. Today, we’re thriving, the pups and me, and I’m ready for a happy, carefree future. I’ve shown what a good little dog I can be. Couldn’t I please be yours?

Arrived February 5, 2016

PS A few photos of puppies are included but they will not be available for adoption until end of February.
