Palomino is a handsome, strong, and smart 75-pound, 2-year-old male Rhodesian Ridgeback mix that needs a new home. Palo is housebroken, asks to go out, and he is crate and leash trained. He obeys basic commands and will come with training support in his new home. He is healthy, has been neutered, and is up to date with shots (medical records available). Palo will be best as an only pet as he does not get along with other dogs or cats. There is no adoption fee for this sweet boy. I am BIG, brown, and weigh about 100 pounds. Can you guess? I’ll give you a sec…time’s up! I appear to be a Rhodesian Ridgeback, about 21 months old. So I’m growing up, but still a big puppy with some things to learn, who’s also full of playfulness. You may find my tail is one of my most captivating features…trust me, it’s like a barometer of emotion! I also hope you’re favorably impressed by my impeccable genetic traits—handsome, muscular, and ready for the active life—and that you’re thinking it would be nice to have a big guy as your new best friend. RUFUS is a sweet and handsome 5-year-old Rhodesian Ridgeback who needs a new home because owners no longer have time for his care and exercise. He weighs about 75 pounds, is neutered, and his shots are up to date. He is fully house broken, leash and crate trained, and loves car rides. Rufus rarely barks, loves to play (especially with other dogs), and knows heel and sit. He is especially social and loves people. There is no adoption fee for this wonderful boy.

Maddie

Hi… my name is Maddie.

Adopted November 28, 2014.

It’s always sad when a dog loses its home, but mine was so full of fun-loving kids (five of them ranging in age from 7 months to 5 years!) that I miss everyone doubly. A friend gave me to my family a year ago, and as the months passed, it became obvious that both mom and dad had serious allergies, which, unfortunately, included me. When I first arrived here I was really despondent over my loss, but the volunteers are being SO extra-sweet to me that I’m coming out of my shell more each day. I’m a warm and huggable Shar Pei and Rhodesian Ridgeback mix girl, who would love to find another dynamic family (preferably with a big yard!) that can help me “forget all my cares and woe”!
