Finn is an energetic and inquisitive 15-month-old, 45-pound, Terrier mix male who needs a new home. Adopter is disabled and can no longer care for him. He is leash trained; he likes to play with his chew toys, will fetch, and currently gets his exercise in the yard. He is in good health, neutered, up to date on shots, and has a microchip. He is housebroken and will ask to go out. Finn is good with other dogs; children and cats are unknown. He knows commands sit, no, leave it, treat, and out. He will love having attention and learning how to be your best friend. There is no adoption fee for this friendly boy. Bubbles

When I was living outside for a while, I got stuck in a tree after I tried to escape some other cats that were picking on me. A nice lady rescued me, fed me, and brought me here to The Animal League. I am getting used to the human attention here, and really like being petted and scratched. That gets me purring, “making biscuits,” and rubbing the obliging hand offering me such treats. But so far, I draw the line at being brushed. Since I have short hair that shouldn’t be a problem. I’m a handsome tabby with black stripes and unusual, gorgeous orange-gold eyes. Why not come meet me and let me charm you?

Hi! I’m Pop, as in Snap and Crackle. If you’re too young to know, that’s Rice Krispies. Anyway, I was adopted as a kitten after being found in a shed with my two siblings. I have had a couple of homes that I shared with other pets—we all realize now that I need to be an only pet! I can get jealous and act up. Oh, and I need a litter box with high sides. Anyway, I like brushing, petting and scratching; and I’m energetic and playful. I sport the classic grey tabby striped coat, which is particularly handsome. Why not come take a look? I had a nice home and mom says I was friendly and got along with large dogs. But allergies combined with a move meant I had to come to The Animal League. So, I’m a little grumpy, but I’m working to get over it. After a “growling phase” I am now realizing that the volunteers are nice, and I can enjoy some petting. I hang out in a cat tree where I can survey my new world. I’m a pretty tortoiseshell with an all-black nose, and yellow-green eyes. I’d like to find a new home to settle in and get comfortable again. Could that be with you? Let’s find out.

A nice lady brought me to The Animal League when she found me on her patio. So, my early life is a mystery! What is clear is that I’m a friendly, but shy boy with snazzy orange stripes in my coat. I like scratches and petting, so somewhere along the line I learned that humans can be pretty nice. I’ve been lounging under a cat tree here and I’m not sure yet what to make of all the attention I’m getting—but I like it. It would be great to find a real home where I could be safe and warm from now on. Why not come over and say hello? I’m available.
