My early life is a mystery. I appeared at a nice woman’s home but she had dogs and couldn’t keep me. I was a mama cat with five kittens so I guess it was a lot to ask! We were all brought to The Animal League and that has been a blessing. We are all safe now. I like my padded cat bed. I’m a petite girl with tabby stripes and a white throat and feet. I don’t mind being picked up and held by the volunteers. I’m ready for affection. Would you happen to have a good home for me? I’m young and have many years ahead of me to be your loving companion.

Wanted: companion who likes to pet me, will let me sit in their lap, and play fetch with me. In return I will purr, follow you around, and give you my undying loyalty! My mom has health problems but wanted us to know that I’m a mild-mannered fellow with no fear of humans—even though she rescued me from outside. I still seem to be interested in the outdoors so it’s best to be careful when opening doors around me. I like attention so much that sometimes when it stops, I like to give love nibbles in protest. Why not come meet me and let me show how enthusiastically I respond to brushing and scratching!

SOCKS is a friendly and social 9-year-old, 10-pound, Chihuahua male who needs a new home. His family will be moving and can’t take him. He is great with all kids, cats, and other dogs of all sizes. He is crate trained, house trained, and uses a doggy door to go out. Socks is in good health, spayed, and is up to date on shots. He knows commands “no,” “outside,” and “come.” He loves to run and play, lots of snuggles and attention.

Tatum

Boy am I glad I was found and brought to The Animal League! Another cat (maybe my mom) and I were found hiding in some pallets. We were rounded up and now we’re sleeping in safety and getting regular meals. What a deal! All I need now is my own home. So far I’ve been pretty laid back about it all, and I’ve been lounging around in the cat beds here. I think I still have lots of kitten energy hiding somewhere though. My coat is a pretty black and white. How about coming over to check me out? Now that I’ve been “brought in from the cold” I don’t ever want to go back!
