Hi… my name is Remy,

Adopted 8-12-23

My life prior to being found and brought to TALGV is a mystery, other than a kind person finding me while on their way to the airport. What is obvious, however, is that I’ve had extensive training and exhibit impeccable manners. I’m quite affectionate and playful. I’ll need an active human who will help me keep my brain engaged and body exercised. A home with a yard and another active, playful dog would be GREAT! Do you think we can write a happy ending to this chapter while starting my “Happily Ever After” with you? Make sure to ask about me soon. Better yet, come by and meet me in person!

COMES WITH VET CARE SUPPORT FOR LIFE

I was happy living with my dad, but he passed away after a few months in a nursing home. Luckily, I found a new home, this time with a mom, who took me for daily walks. Four months later she passed away. When I first arrived at TALGV I was scared, confused, and… sorry to admit… grumpy. Now I’m back to being my old self, the “real” me, who loves being loved! I’m great with other dogs, enjoy playing fetch and love to cuddle. I do come with Vet Care Support for Life. Now, as a 12-year-old, male chihuahua, I’m hoping I can find a loving person who would be happy sharing their life with me. My heart may have a murmur, but it also echoes a large abundance of love to share with YOU!

Hi… my name is Sunspot,

Adopted with Sundial 8-11-23

My buddy Sundial and I were found on the back acre of a property near Elephant Head. The owner came across us and put up posters, but no one claimed us. Thankfully, she brought us to The Animal League where you may find us in cubbies, our safe place. How we long for our own permanent safe place in our own home! Could that be yours? We are a bonded pair so must be adopted together. We are handsome and gentle. We respond to petting and brushing. Although we are not “meeters and greeters,” we respond to the attention of the volunteers. As Flame Point Siamese cats, we thrive on human interaction and make wonderful companions. Please come meet us!

Hi… my name is Macaroon,

Adopted 11-5-23

This was no way to treat a lady…and a pregnant lady at that! However, this is what happened to me: someone dropped me off in a gentleman’s front yard. He kept me until I had my four kittens. Then, he brought me and my babies to The Animal League where we have been well-cared for since. We were known as the Sweet Litter. My babies were so sweet that they have all been adopted.  Now it’s my turn! I’m a lovely grey tabby who is waiting for my own home where I will be treated as an adult. Don’t you love my striped markings? I’m waiting for you to come meet me! We could be made for each other!

Hi… my name is Skippy,

Adopted 10-21-23

Puppies mature at various ages, usually 1-2 years old. I’m a little over two and I’m still going through the process that will eventually turn me into an adult. I was a little too “active” for my adoptive parents. They signed me up for classes at PetSmart, where I’ve been working on the commands: “sit,” “stay,” “lay down,” “wait,” and “leave it,” but I’m still excitable and play rough. These are things we can continue to work on when you take me home. I’m a very loving boy! I enjoy playing with my toys, chasing balls, and working on puzzle games. I’m leash and crate trained (when left alone). A home with an active family might be something to consider! Why don’t you come by and meet me and we can go from there… hopefully home!

Hi… my name is Dawson,

Adopted 1-6-24

Originally, I was a stray in Sahuarita, AZ where I was found meowing in the backyard for over a week. When no one claimed me, that homeowner brought me to The Animal League where within days I was adopted into a home with my friend, Bazooka. I got along fine playing with toys, getting along with children, sleeping in the living room, and eating with a hearty appetite. Through no fault of my own, I am here again because a human was allergic to cats. I am a mellow, friendly guy who wants my own home where I can shower you with affection.  Please come meet me. I’m waiting for you!

Hi… my name is Pongo,

Adopted 10-13-23

Sad it is to lose your person and your home in one fell swoop, but that is what happened to me when my person had to move into assisted living and couldn’t take me with her. We enjoyed a quiet life together. I’m a gentle Tuxedo cat with handsome markings. I love being petted and brushed. I’m quiet and laid back; yet I love attention. Do those qualities intrigue you to come meet me?  Please do! Although I’m not sure how I got the name Pongo, I understand he is a canine character in Disney’s “One Hundred and One Dalmatians.” I am soulful and serene and long to be happy just being with you. Let’s get acquainted!
