Not every kitten gets their own biography, but I have a special tale to tell. Listen up! My rescuer said, “I came home and found this kitten next to my garage door alerting me to a rattlesnake as I was stepping out of my vehicle. I was able to kill the snake thanks to her alertness.” How’s that for brave and courageous and alert to danger? Unfortunately, my rescuer could not keep me, but he brought me to The Animal League where the volunteers named me Guardian. How appropriate. If you want a darling little girl who is attentive and observant, I’m your girl! I am all things “kitten,” and I would love to become your guardian.

My human mom adopted my sister Lovie and me from The Animal League when we were kittens. Sadly, she became ill and can no longer care for us. She described me as shy and quiet, needing a patient person who will allow me to feel safe. I’ll sit beside you watching nature TV shows (I especially like the bird shows!) I like tummy rubs. I appreciate being brushed, and playing with dangly toys. I’ve never been around dogs or children. I prefer a quiet home. I can sleep anywhere, but I’m a picky eater. I am bonded with my sister Lovie. Won’t you adopt both of us into your loving home?

Mama and I were brought to The Animal League where we are enjoying tender loving care. I’m a lovely girl and sweet, too! My tabby markings are unique in grays and browns. And just look at my eyes! I’m alert to the next person I meet who might just become my human to love! I have my “kitten ways” with no previous ideas of “home,” but I hear that a “home” is a loving place that appreciates us pets! That’s for me! Please come meet me.
