Sad it is to lose your home and your human. That is what happened to my feline companion Blink and me. When our human mom could no longer care for us, we were brought to The Animal League. Not the best trip that I’ve had. I’m scared, hiding in a corner of a catio. My best trip will be when you adopt me and take me to my forever home. At my age, I want to be loved and cared for by someone who enjoys brushing me. I need it! You may notice that my left paw is missing, but that’s not a problem for me. I need a loving human companion. “This is the dawning of the Age of Aquarius.” Yes, I’m ready to be adopted! I’ve had my kittens and they are finding their own homes, so it’s my turn to be adopted. When you come to The Animal League to meet me, I will greet you and ask to be petted. You will notice my cute rusty-pink nose and mouth, sort of like I put lipstick all over my face. I’m petite and pretty. I lived with my human mom all my life. When she downsized into an apartment, there was no room for me and my five kittens. When will the Age of Aquarius begin? I was adopted by a senior woman who decided that my feline friend and I were not a good fit for her, so she returned us to The Animal League. My feline companion has already been adopted again, so now it’s my turn! My adopter commented that I “was playful and kitten-like, was bold and outgoing, and was a greeter.” I like to play with my toys and balls. I enjoy being petted and hanging out on my human’s lap. I’m not a picky eater. Don’t I sound like the perfect feline? According to folklore, calico cats bring good luck. You just know you have to meet me, so come on in! I’m waiting.
