Hi… my name is Luna,

Adopted 2-12-23

My family was moving across country to a place that would not accept pets, so here I am waiting for my new home. My mom said that I’m shy at first but love to cuddle once I warm up to you. TALGV volunteers are finding this true as I adjust to being here. I love to nap in a cat tower or bed. I have lived with a family who have young children and have lived with another cat. However, I have not lived with dogs so I’m not sure about those canines. I’m not a picky eater. Don’t I sound like the perfect feline? Please come meet me. I’m ready to go to my new home!

Hi… my name is Derby,

Adopted 4-1-23

My brother and I were found by a kind person when we were just kittens. Our mom was injured and limping along with us down the road, and we were all brought to The Animal League. I’m the quiet type and spend most of my time in a cubby.  But when the volunteers reach in to pet me, I definitely like it and respond with purring. I also like having my ears scratched! If I could just find that special someone who is patient and kind, I’m sure I could blossom into a real companion. I have lots of time to let you bring out my best side! Give me a try.

Hi… my name is Belmont,

Adopted 4-19-23

My sister and I were found by a kind person when we were just kittens. Our mom was injured and limping along with us down the road, and we were all brought to The Animal League. I’m the shy type.  But if you can catch me you can pet me, and hold me. I’m just very scared. The volunteers here are working to teach me that humans can be trusted. I do enjoy playing with the other kittens in my room and spend most of my time with them out in the open. I also like to stand by the door watching what’s happening in the hallway. Can I come play at your house?

Hi… my name is Grey Baby,

Adopted 10-30-22

Would you like to have a “very nice, gentle cat who can be petted and picked up?” Well then, please come meet me! That is how my rescuer described me, and it is proving true here at The Animal League. I have lived with dogs and other cats. I lived outside after my humans moved without taking me with them. I MUCH prefer the safety of the indoors where I can stare out the window from my cat tree! Although on first meeting you I may be shy, I will warm up to you if you gently stroke my soft fur coat and whisper to me. So, how about it? Let’s meet!

Hi… my name is Tiger,

Adopted with Chicklets 2-1-23

Although my name denotes that I may be ferocious like a tiger, I’m not. My rescuer described me as “a nice cat you can pet and pick up.”  I’m somewhat shy with strangers, but I warm up quickly when I’m petted and talked to. I like toys and I like to graze on my dry kibble. I have lived with dogs and other cats. I’m just your all-around good cat! Why am I here? Because I was abandoned when my humans moved away. My rescuer did the “neighborly thing” and brought me to The Animal League. Now I’m waiting for my new home where I will be loved and cared for. How about it? Is that yours?

Hi… my name is Mama,

Adopted 12-26-22

At first glance at my slight frame, you would never know that I love to eat. My rescuers said that I “ruled the roost with other cats over food issues.” Why? There were nine of us abandoned outdoors left to fend for ourselves when our people moved.  Neighbors couldn’t keep us all, so they brought some of us to The Animal League. Thankfully, I now have the necessities of food and shelter. However, the one essential thing missing is my own home where my human(s) will love and care for me. I like to be petted. I have lived with other cats and dogs. I’m friendly and would love to meet you!
