Hi… my name is Magoo,

Adopted 9-21-22

When I arrived at TALGV, I was discombobulated having lost my home, so I hid under “blankies” to feel safe. My human mom said I was a super-sweet guy who liked noisy toys, being petted, and slept anywhere. Kind volunteers are feeding me varieties of canned food which I lap up (a recent dental removed most of my teeth). Petting me, they are rewarded with quite the purr motor! I LOVE to be petted, and I love to be the only pet!  No dogs or other cats, please!  And I’ve never been around children. I want to be your one and only.  If you’ve got room for one love in your life, then I’m your guy!

Hi… my name is Luna May,

Adopted 11-7-21

“She LOVES being brushed, sitting on your lap to be petted, and is very gentle and tolerant with little kids.” (Mom didn’t mention that I’m a real looker too, but you’ll find that out when you meet me!). I was happy as the proverbial clam living with my “boyfriend,” Shamu, and family, but unfortunately, they were moving and couldn’t take us along too, so finding another home where I can be a big part of the action would positively make my year! And it would be even better if Shamu and I could stay together as we’ve been with each other all our lives. So c’mon, be an angel and make that happen!

Hi… my name is Paul,

Adopted 9-5-25

Dogs? Love ‘em. Kids? Them too. Other cats? Well, that’s questionable. My mom tried to integrate me into a family of 10 of them, but maybe that was just too many to handle at one time, ‘cause I’ve been fine with my roommates here (we may not be the best of pals, but I’m not being unfriendly either). A buddy of my mom brought me all the way back from Georgia because as a former cat coordinator she knew that I’d be well cared for and that they’d find me the perfect new home. So if your active household needs a feline addition, my great personality will be sure to fill that slot!

Hi… my name is Jelly,

Adopted with Mamas 12-30-21

Comes with Vet Care Support for Life

What’s so great about laps and being held anyway? Petting and brushing are WAY more fun (for me at least, and since I’m a good size lady, more comfortable and easier on you too truth be told). I enjoy people and socializing and just generally being part of a (preferably older, one pet) family. My mom recently found that she has a long-term health issue, so since there was no one to care for me while she’s being treated, here I am. I’m a 13-year-young lady (with Vet Care Support for Life), who still loves to play and I’d like to help you discover the joys of a quiet, loving “best friend” kind of companion.

Hi… my name is Grace,

Adopted 11-6-21

I’m a 9-month-old female Lab/Heeler mix, who feels a little lost and anxious. You see, everything is strange to me, and I’m trying to adjust to my new surroundings and canine neighbors. I’m curious about other dogs, but I don’t know how to approach them! I’ve been told excited barking isn’t the correct procedure. What I do love are the people who come to visit me. It doesn’t take long for everyone to see what a lovable, happy, playful pup I am. Imagine the kind of dog I’ll become once I’ve learned some basic commands. I don’t need a lesson to know I’m ready for a loving forever home. Are you ready to share YOURS? Hint: Do you know what happens when you take the Yout of YOUR home? It  becomes OUR home!

Pua

Hi… my name is Pua,

Adopted 11-7-21

Don’t let my name fool you! Since pua is Samoan for “flower,” you may think I’m of the female persuasion, but I’m actually a four-month-old male Terrier mix puppy. I’m lucky to be staying in a good foster home that comes with a rather large year-old pup as a playmate. My foster mom reports that I’m a happy, affectionate, loving boy who’s in the process of learning what potty training is all about. I’m getting better, but not quite there. Hey, I’m just a puppy! Besides I already know how to sit and come when told. My “mom” also mentions that I’m smart and easy going and just need more puppy training. I do enjoy a friendly, comfortable lap, and in my opinion it’s the perfect place to be. Do you have a home (and lap) available for me?

(Note: Pua means “flower” in Samoan)
