No one can figure how my sister, Perch, and I went from being typical adorable, playful, into-everything 8-week-old kittens to what our people described as “not friendly, can’t touch them, and very skittish” in ten months. Yes, we are still pretty skittish, but the volunteers immediately found that once we feel safe, we love petting, belly rubs, and purr easily, so maybe it was just some strange “aura” in our old home. We are a matched and ever-so-bonded pair who need to stay together, and with patience and love will be the wonderful companions we were meant to be. We do so hope you’ll decide that you’re the one to give us that chance.

Unlike the “unwelcome guest” my name means in Gaelic, I’d like to be quite the opposite for you! I lived and loved the two dogs, cat, fish, and 10-year-old kid I lived with, but my teenage antics (which included some unwanted nocturnal explorations) were a bit too much for my mom, so she figured I’d do better in a more “quirk-accepting” home. She said I wasn’t at all picky about my food, was very playful, liked toys, sharing water and sleeping with the dogs, and snuggling with my kid, and am generally a “well-rounded” girl. When you add all that to my pure-as-the-driven-snow coat and blue eyes, well, what a package to brighten your summer!

Lots of cats go crazy for catnip. I, however, am more of the “human-please-pet-me type” and would rather spend time with you. I also like laser toys and seafood flavored food. Oh, and I was raised with three kids, so I’m good there too. What I don’t much like is living with other cats (males especially), as I wasn’t happy with their advances and was intimidated by them (especially near the litter box). It won’t take me long to warm up and favor you with my deep-throated purr and body rubs, so at 6 years old, I’d sure like to spend the rest of my long life doing my best to make you happy!

Once upon a time, I lived with three other cats and got along okay with them, but in my most recent home, I decided that being your one and only was way preferable and exactly what I was cut out for. My dad said I’m a great cat who sometimes gets into to places I shouldn’t (like the counters and near the stove), but I’ll get the idea that those things are verboten with a few spritzes of vinegar water to remind me they’re off limits. So if you think having a warm and fuzzy guy spending all his time with you (mostly in your lap), then you need look no further; I’m here waiting!

Well, there’s petite and then there’s downright TINY – and that’s what you’d get with me (especially since I’m a Manx and don’t have a tail, so there seems to be even less of me!). But don’t confuse quantity with quality, ‘cause that’s one attribute I’ve got that in spades! I’m a super sweet slip of a thing whose human mom lost her home. She had to move in with a friend who had two VERY BIG dogs who were not at all enamored with cats, so safety came first and here I am! I’ve lived with (nice!) dogs and other cats, so adaptable is my middle name. If you come to visit and give me a chuck under the chin, I’m guessing you’ll be sold!
