Hi… my name is Cheyenne,

I came to The Animal League with a buddy when our humans could no longer care for us. Since I’ve been here I have enjoyed all the attention the volunteers give me. That includes petting, brushing and playing with a string toy. I will come to greet you, rub your legs, jump in your lap and purr! What more could you ask for? All I’m asking for is a loving home where my affections will be returned. My coat is an unusual type of calico, where the colors are somewhat muted. My face is mostly grey and I have a white mouth and chest. Let’s meet.

Hi… my name is Corona,

Since I was a stray living on the streets down south, I can’t tell you much about my past. However, somewhere along the line someone was nice to me because I like people! I’m a fluffy orange tabby girl with extra-long legs—do you think I’m still growing into them? I’m only a year old. I’ve discovered the outdoor catio here, and I’ve been sleeping out there on a chair where the volunteers can easily reach me for petting, brushing and scratching. I’m ready for a real home with humans who will keep me safe and allow me to be their companion.

DJ

Hi… my name is DJ,

They say every dog has his day—and mine’s already looking pretty great. I’ve been discovering how awesome life can be: toys, playtime, car rides, and, best of all, people who get me. I used to tag along with my brother Warwick, but now I’m happy to do my own thing. (No offense, bro, but I’ve got my own style.) My foster family has been showing me how fun meeting new folks can be, and I’m catching on fast. I walk nicely on leash, enjoy new adventures, and know when to chill out for a good couch snuggle. I may look like a tough guy, but my tail and heart give me away every time. Are you ready to meet your loyal, slightly goofy, totally lovable best friend?

If you are considering adoption, please call TALGV office (520-625-3170) and make a date to meet us soon. Kennel appointments are between 10 and 2 every day. (Note: Figgy’s Memorial Adoption Fund will donate  half of the adoption fee for Warwick and DJ.)

Hi… my name is Warwick,

People see my muscles and think I moonlight as a gym trainer. Truth is, I’m more of a “personal play” instructor—just ask my foster family. I used to let my brother DJ handle the social stuff while I focused on important things like sniffing, flexing, and deep thinking. But now that I’m doing my own thing, I’m learning that the world’s not so scary—and that meeting new people can actually be pretty great (especially when treats are involved). Toys are starting to look interesting, too. I’m still cautious about weird noises and surprise objects, but every day I get a little braver and a lot more fun. Under this boulder-bench-pressing look is a sweetheart who just wants to trade belly rubs for loyalty.

Hi… my name is Wee Wee,

COMES WITH VET CARE SUPPORT FOR LIFE

When my owner couldn’t care for us, my buddy Foxy and I came to The Animal League. I’m getting used to my new surroundings, but I’m a little wary of my feline roommates. However, the volunteers are paying me attention and I like petting and chin scratches. Brushing, not so much. My coat is a light grey stripe and my eyes have a greenish hue.  Despite my age I still like to play! And speaking of age, my senior status earns me Vet Care Support for Life—so don’t let that stop you. Come look for me on a low perch in my room.

If you are considering adoption, stop in at TALGV to meet me soon. Or you may call TALGV office (520-625-3170) and make an appointment. Kennel hours are between 10 and 2 every day.

Hi… my name is Mystery,

My name says it all. I’m afraid I can’t tell you anything about my earlier life—I came here as a stray and was a little upset. However I’m now “in the groove” and enjoy sitting on a low perch in the outdoor catio with some of my buddies. I like to play and will approach you for attention, but I’m not sure about brushing—what is that for? I have short hair anyway. My coat is mostly orange striped, but my belly and feet are white. I have matching coppery eyes. I’m looking for a safe home where I can enjoy a life to which I’d like to become accustomed. Got that?

Hi… my name is Bruce,

Dad moved to a place that didn’t allow pets, so here I am with my companion, Sadie.  Dad says I’m shy at first but then I’m cuddly and friendly. I like sleeping on your bed. Here I’ve been sleeping on a perch of a cat tree, but I’m still getting used to the attentions of volunteers.  I’m a handsome orange tabby boy who’s hoping to find the right person who wants me to join their home. Will you come and meet ME? I know I can be shy but you can help me feel comfortable. Give me a chance?

Hi… my name is Smokey,

When the folks decided they had too many pets, three of us cats came to The Animal League. We’re all taking time to adjust to our new digs and it’s been a little rough. I spend my time in a wall cubby and the volunteers are able to stroke my body with a wand, and even brush and pet me a little—but not on my head. I have no problem with other cats in my room. What would suit me best is a quiet home with a patient owner who could help me feel safe and let my better nature come out.

I spend my time in a wall cubby and the volunteers are able to stroke my body with a wand, but brushes scare me too much. I’m a young boy with a mostly grey coat with patches of white. Hi… my name is Thelma,

COMES WITH VET CARE SUPPORT FOR LIFE

Here’s the deal. Mom passed away so I’m at The Animal League now. It’s okay! I usually sit in a windowsill or in the outside catio, and the volunteers know that sometimes I like brushing, petting and scratching. However, I don’t like laps or being picked up — I really like my own space, and I can be cranky about it. My coat is light grey with stripes, and my Siamese side comes out in my blue eyes. I’d really like a chance to live in a quiet home for my senior years. I come with Vet Care Support for Life, so don’t let my senior status stop you!

Hi… my name is Delighted,

COMES WITH VET CARE SUPPORT FOR LIFE

Since I’ve been here a while, I now qualify for Vet Care Support for Life. In my previous home, my people were having issues with my behavior, and maybe I was a little stressed out. Coming here has really helped, though. I like brushing and playing with a string toy. I approach visitors and rub against their legs for attention. I think I need an easy-going home where I am an only pet with an empty chair for my naps where I can let my better nature shine through. After all, I’m too young to be set in my ways! Will you give me a second chance?  (6-2025)
