Hi… my name is Cord,

Adopted with Charon 10-16-19

Boy, I sure got the short end of the stick! When my siblings and I arrived at 8 weeks old in June, I was the one who had ringworm, so I had to be treated for weeks while my adorable sisters went off to their new homes. Well, now I’ve matured into a handsome, sleek boy and although I might not be quite as doggone endearing any longer, I’ve got charm to spare anyway. And as an added enticement, you won’t have to worry about my climbing the curtains and getting into absolutely everything any longer (OK, maybe there’s still a lot of devilishness in there, so why not take me home and find out!).

Hi… my name is Beauty,

Adopted 7-20-19

Aptly named, I’m a black (and silver) beauty and a sight to behold (maybe that’s what caught your eye). It’s hard to imagine anyone abandoning me (and my friend, Duke) anywhere, but at least they had the decency to do it near a vet! Fortunately, they found us quickly so we didn’t have to spend too much time out there alone. You may think that with such a rough start in life, I’d be kinda shy, but because of the warm welcome I received at TALGV, I’ve developed a real friendliness to people (and have even learned to sit before getting food!). At 42 pounds, there’s lot of me to love, so come do it!

Hi… my name is Hope,

Adopted with Baxter 7-24-19

Comes with Vet Care Support for Life

After my mom went into a nursing home, my friend, Baxter, and I remained in our house for a month hoping she’d be able to come home (neighbors came to visit and feed us, but it wasn’t the same as having mom around). Well, that didn’t happen, so here we are, eager to spend the second half of our lives together in a new home with a new special someone. Mom said that we’re both “people” cats – we crave attention and cuddling and even at 10 years old (and entitled to vet care support for life), we’re still playful as all get-out. Sounds like a deal to me; I hope it does to you, too!

Hi… my name is Mija,

Adopted with Maggie 7-10-20

Comes with Vet Care Support for Life

“A friend found her along the road, but she’s allergic to cats, so couldn’t keep her. Mija is diabetic and needs shots twice a day, so I’m not able to care for her either. She’s the most endearing cat I’ve ever seen – she’s super loving and adores being petted. My friend said when she found her it looked like she’d been frantic and confused and in panic tried to climb a cholla cactus.” Quite a saga, huh? Well after all that, I’m now on the mend and ready for a 180-degree turnaround in my life! I’m an easy rider (with my shots and everything else), so please consider giving this still-pretty-much-a-youngster a shot (pun intended)!

Hi… my name is Sammie,

Adopted with Stash 12-8-19

You know two words I’d like to see disappear from the English language? “Landlord issues!” That’s what happened when my family exceeded its allotment in pet “dependents.” Then my second family decided to move out of state to a place that didn’t allow pets (pretty poor planning, I’d say!), so I’m hopeful my third home will be a charm. Anyway, I got along with everyone, loved sitting in windows, and being petted (on my head). I’m not big on being held. however, but sometimes I’m in the mood, so I’ll let you know (I have a “very sassy attitude”)! I’m a 4½-year-old bundle of fun just sitting here waiting for Mr. (or Ms.) Right to appear!
