Hi… my name is Bobby,

Adopted with Wilder 3-25-21

It’s been two years since my brother, Wilder, and I arrived and given the upheaval in our lives, we’ve made a lot of progress (well, I’ve made more than Wilder, but they’re working on him!). When our mom died, a shelter took us in, but when they became a “dog only” shelter, we were left without homes. Once we were happy, well-adjusted kids, but so much changed that we’ve done some “backsliding” personality-wise. Because we’re bonded, everyone agrees that we’d adapt to a new home much better together, so we’re crossing tails hoping to find a patient, understanding cat person who’ll let us learn to enjoy a new life with you in our own time.   (bio rev. 2-26-21)

Adopted with Chip 5-23-19

BUDDY and CHIP are sweet and social bonded 5-year-old small male terrier mixes that need a new quieter home as current home of 4 young children is extremely active and they don’t receive much attention. They are housebroken, leash and crate trained. They are housebroken and ask to go out. They are okay with other small dogs and children; cats are unknown. They are neutered, shots are up to date and medical records are available. Buddy and Chip are friendly, come when called, and will sit on command. There is no adoption fee for these cute boys.

If you will welcome Buddy and Chip into a loving home as part of your family, please call Andrea between 10 AM and 8 PM at 520-307-9481.

Hi… my name is Kitty Baby,

Adopted 6-11-19

It’s probably lucky I’m still around to tell my story ’cause when I lived with my mom and a canine friend, I had “free roaming” privileges via the doggie door and that’s a mighty dangerous proposition for cats! When they had to move, the place they chose wouldn’t accept cats, so maybe in the long run it worked out for the best. Mom said that I’m a smidge shy, but am a gentle, affectionate, and talkative girl, and I really liked “my” dog, so after a bit of settling in, I’m sure I’ll adapt to a new home in short order. I’m a sleek, petite, 18-month girl who’s destined to be your new best friend!

Hi… my name is Sharpie,

Adopted 6-5-19

When a death in my family required an emergency move out of state, they couldn’t take me, so I’m back at TALGV after a wonderful year of “living the dream.” I’m a super loving boy who got along great with the kids (ages 2, 4, and 8) and a Chihuahua (he got to go, lucky guy). Well, Mom said I’m frightened of boxes and travel crates, so maybe that’s why a long car trip wasn’t in my future! Anyway, I know I’ll be a grand addition to your life – I love sleeping in bed with you, am not picky about food, and adore attention – so won’t you give me a new start in “the good life”?

Adopted 5-28-19

ALTAIR is a handsome, playful, and quiet 5-year-old, 73-pound, Lab mix male who would get more attention in a home with fewer animals. He is crate trained, leash trained, and house trained (will use doggy door). He knows basic obedience training but responds best to “BALL.” He is in good health, neutered, up to date on shots, and medical records are available. Altair loves to play with tennis balls and in water. He can be shy at first with strangers and is not comfortable in crowded situations, but your patience will be rewarded with his loyal companionship.

There is no adoption fee. If you will welcome Altair into a loving home as part of your family, please call Barbara between 4 PM and 8 PM at 520-975-1339 or text any time.

Hi… my name is Jessica,

Adopted with Samantha 5-19-19

The story of how we came to be here is a bit convoluted—we were in a park, going this way then that, there was someone’s daughter—but two things are for sure: First, I came with Samantha, another Pug mix female, and we’re very happy together. The other sure thing, according to our new people friends, is that we’re two little dogs with great big hearts. Calm and sweet, we’re naturally friendly. (Samantha may be slightly braver than me; she’s a little bigger and one year older.) Some people think our Pug-like expressions are kind of comical, but we know you’re laughing with us, so it’s all good. If we make you happy just by being ourselves, that’s perfect for us, too. So how about we get together and give it a try!
