So, our finders brought us here, where we’ve been the group to see for anyone who loves a litter of cute puppies. I’m Donner, a 2-month-old black Lab mix male, one of six adorable puppies. (If you think I’m the most adorable, that can be our secret.) Back on 11/27, I weighed a little over 5 pounds; probably more today because I’m a growing boy. My former owner could no longer care for my basic needs, so now I have a chance at a new home, where the basics and maybe even more will be given. There were 3 other dogs and 3 horses at my former place; they said I got along with other animals and the kids (ages 7 and 13). But I lived outdoors there, so you can imagine how much I’m enjoying indoor time—safe, dry and comfy! And the regular company of people is great. They seem to like me, too—especially my composed, mature manner. I’m a 3-year-old black Lab mix male, and under my calm demeanor, I’m yearning to be somebody’s best buddy. Could it be you? Boy, some older cats sure do forget how to play with youngsters! You’d think having a playful little bugger like me around would add a little zip to their lives, but in my case, the prissy old thing that I shared the house with just wasn’t having any of it. I know it was hard for my human mom to make the decision to relinquish me, but since I’m young (and gorgeous, they say!), she felt an active family, maybe with kids, would appreciate my antics and enthusiasm for life more than a settled one. Mom said I’m a “loving kitty” who adores all kinds of toys and sitting in your lap, so if life’s been a little dull for you lately, my goal is to rectify that!

Since I was found outside a local real estate office, my TALGV buddies tease me that I was trying to find a home on my own. In a sense, that’s true! But when they mention rent or down payment, well, I’m happy to switch to dog talk. For instance, am I a dog who likes to play? Oh yes! Am I lively, affectionate, and interested in the world around me—especially people? You bet! And most important: Do I have the makings of a lifelong loyal companion who’ll stick by you during the good and hard times? Absolutely; just look in my eyes and you’ll see that I do. I’m a 1-year-old female, a beautiful black and white Lab mix, who offers a constant heartbeat of love for you when you take me home.
