Hi… my name is Max.

My siblings, Pax, Jax, Molly, and I were born to a feral mom, but thanks to the wonderful lady whose yard we lived in, we’ve all been fed and socialized and are just as sweet as any kittens you’ve ever met. Our foster mom even made sure we got our vaccinations and were neutered, so now all we have to do is find “real” homes where we can get down to the business of being the entertaining and loving companions we’re meant to be. I’m a black and white boy with a delightful Chaplinesque moustache who’s very affectionate, playful, and love to be held and petted, so I’m looking forward to finding out what a place of my very own is like. I’m ever so hopeful it will be yours!

You won’t find many stray cats that will follow a dog home, but that’s just how I got to my rescuer’s house! I guess that means either that I’ve lived with a dog in my other life or else I’m just a typically outgoing Siamese boy (or both!). At any rate, since I couldn’t stay with the family that found me because of allergies, here I am — sitting pretty and getting lots of food and attention (and spiffing up — I was a tad, uh, “ratty” when I arrived!). They think I’m only about three years old, so just think of all the years we’ll have ahead of us to share our stories of derring-do! If you “speak Siamese,” we’re gonna be happy as the proverbial clams!

Trixie

My foster mom and dad report that I’m a typical puppy with lessons to learn; the puppy version of “some assembly required.” I’m also a lucky pup because some great people are helping me learn to be the best dog I can be. Already, I will sit and stay at the door, and I’m learning other important things like how to have fun with other dogs, be quiet in my crate, and good house manners, too. (Turns out the people make the rules – good to know!) I’m a 6-month-old female pup; a 25-pound Dalmation/Staffie mix, white with big and small black spots. I’m an energetic pup who also loves to cuddle—a cuddle bug, they call me—and in my puppy dreams, I imagine my forever home. Could it be with you?

Sometimes sad things happen and change your life. That happened to me recently when there was a death in my family and they couldn’t keep me anymore. But I have also learned that things do get better and so I’m putting my best paw forward for a happy future. I’m a 1-1/2-year-old male, about 40 pounds, with a distinctive Husky/Terrier appearance. (You may think I most closely resemble a small Husky.) My family described me as “well behaved.” I’m learning how to walk well on a leash, and already know “sit,” “stay,” and “come.” My coat is brown, black and white, and if you look into my eyes you’ll see a young guy who has known some tough times but believes in happy days ahead. Could those days be with you?

My brother and I were puppies found in the desert. We stayed with our rescuers for several months, living outside until we moved here, where the volunteers have taught me so much! Now I know commands like “sit,” “stay,” “down,” and even earned my AKC Canine Good Citizen Certificate! I’m a young Boxer/Lab/Staffie mix male, 52 pounds, and my friends call me handsome—in part because of my sleek black coat with the white star on my neck—and a fun companion for walks, playing ball, and belly rubs. (I’ll try to make those belly rubs fun for you, too, okay?) I’m super grateful to those who helped me become the terrific dog I am today, and all I ask from you is a chance to show you how great we could be together.

Once upon a time, I was a lost dog. It’s dangerous out there on your own, and very lonely, but that’s in the past. I say let bygones be bygones. I’m here now, where my naturally sweet and gentle nature can flourish. I’m 4 years old, a beautiful brown and black female Shepherd mix, nicely built at about 72 pounds. I walk well on a leash, and I’m always happy for your company; you can see that in my soft brown eyes.
