Hi… my name is Orion,

Adopted 8-17-21

Being in foster is “almost” like being in a forever home. I’m enjoying my stay while learning house manners, potty training and other useful lessons that every pup should know. There is also basic training that I will need YOU to help me with. My foster mom reports that I’m very playful, active, fun loving, and intelligent. I enjoy jogging or going on energetic walks, and my favorite activity is playtime. Of course at the age of 3 months, it’s always playtime! Socialization and mental stimulation (what BIG words!) are what every pup needs to grow into a happy, well-balanced dog. My foster mom recommends agility training and other activities for an active intelligent boy like me. Nothing is accomplished in a day but in a lifetime, who knows? Please give me a lifetime in your home.

Hi… my name is P.F.,

Adopted 10-28-21

When it comes to checking all the personality boxes, my mom didn’t miss one! I get along with and love EVERYONE (she said, “his best friend is a dog and the kids adore him”)! I’ve never lived with other cats, but hey, old “mellow yellow” here would probably be fine with them, too. I also love laps, petting, playing, eating, sleeping, and I guess that just about covers the spectrum! My family had to move to a “no pets” place, so that’s the only reason I’m here. Given all my positive bona fides, I’m guessing (and hoping) it won’t be long before some lucky person snatches me up, so don’t waste time – grab your chance now!

PS My baby pictures are at the end of the gallery.

Hi… my name is Shorty,

Adopted 11-6-21

I like big and little people (the six kids were 3 months to 14 years!), toys, and laps, but please, no other cats or dogs! That said I’m a 13-month-old, recently spayed (that should have been done LONG ago!) practically tailless girl (thus my name, I guess) who’s friendly, mellow, and perfectly behaved. I lived with another cat (an unneutered male) and, nature being what it is, he made my life so miserable that I’ve decided I should be your one and only feline. I’m a dainty girl with a lovely black and white coat, a beauty mark on my nose, and I’m hoping my new life will be the stuff dreams are made of!

Hi… my name is Midnight,

Adopted 1-2-23

“She’s very independent, but wants attention when SHE wants it. She’s very playful and loves to play with hair ties, sleep in bed with you, and drink water from the faucet. But be careful when you have chicken around, because she’ll steal it – she LOVES chicken! Aside from that, her favorite food is Kit and Kaboodle.” And there you have it. The negative was that I didn’t tolerate the kids, especially the new baby, so I need to be an addition to an “adults only” home. As is not unusual, I’m a bit shy at first (especially here with so much action going on), but if you give me a chance, you won’t be sorry!

Hi… my name is Bones,

Adopted 9-4-22

Staying in a foster home is like a vacation! I miss my friends at the shelter, but I’m really enjoying the change. I need exercise, and I’ve always enjoyed my walks, but now I get L-O-N-G walks.  I’m house trained, use a doggie door, love car rides, playing fetch and a good cuddle. I know the commands “sit,” “shake,”“down,” and “fetch,” and now “stay.” Then there’s “LEAVE IT.” I may be treat motivated, but with all of nature’s living creatures tempting me, that’s a hard one to obey. I should also tell you, cats are a no-no, but dogs may be okay. I’m still young and need a strong, confident person in my life to get me through the awkward stages. Home life can be good, but home life with you would be perfect.

Hi… my name is Lilly,

Adopted 8-9-21

Comes with Vet Care Support for Life

When you say a 15-year-old cat is “quiet, calm, and sleeps a lot,” I suppose your first reaction would be “duh,” but don’t let that fool you! I still like lots of attention (which includes petting and brushing since I’ve got a beautiful long “Maine coon-like” coat and I need it), but that’s just a way for us to get to know each better. Because of their health, my mom and dad had to go live with family, so my friend, Aretha, and I are here wondering what our new lives will be like. I’m a lovely lady with Vet Care Support for Life to entice you to make my golden years part of yours.

Hi… my name is Aretha,

Adopt 10-7-21

I guess you could say I’m a “ladies lady,” ‘cause my dad said that I followed mom everywhere. I didn’t totally ignore him, of course, but I did prefer her (probably since she gave me more attention!) so I’m not really picky; I just go where the love is! Because of their health, they had to go live with family, so my friend, Lilly, and I are here wondering what our new lives will be like. Dad said that I’m a real cuddler when I get to know you, am playful and kittenlike, and like to sleep “everywhere” (typical cat, huh?). I’m a lovely 3-year-old Tuxedo lady who’d love to entertain you for life!

Hi… my name is Magnum,

Adopted 7-2-21

Comes with Vet Care Support for Life

After ten years, and at an age when change doesn’t come easy, my family grew to include two young children, and one of them wanted to hug me all the time. I may seem grouchy, but I’m not used to so much attention and I really need my own space. I’m leash trained and I ask to go out. I’ll follow a person around and I’m protective, playful and enjoy playing with a ball, but I don’t have as much energy as I used to. I haven’t had any “formal” obedience training but I’m pretty easy-going or as someone described me: “mellow.” I’m here, with paws extended, asking you to please consider offering me a quiet, pleasant home in which to spend my golden years. I also come with Vet Care Support for Life. Together we can enjoy each other’s company!
