I’m a stunning girl who arrived at TALGV after being found abandoned, alone and scared, in a nearby pecan field. I’ve since been fully vetted, spayed, and ready to start my quest to find a loving family. A few things about me: I like to take my time getting to know someone, so if you’re patient and respectful, I’ll show you the playful, fun side of me. I LOVE going for car rides and walks to explore all the sights, sounds, and scents. I also wait to ‘go’ until we are on a walk, so I’m likely housetrained. I’m a 2-year-old mixed breed, only 37 pounds, but my heart’s as big as they come. I’m shy when we first meet, like a diesel engine that takes a minute to warm up. But once I do, I’m ready to go, full of love, loyalty, and wagging tail. Oh! I’m a smart guy, too! I love puzzles and figuring things out – you could say I’m a bit of a problem solver. I walk really well on a leash, so we can explore the world together, and I promise, once we’re bonded, I’ll be right there with you, enjoying every adventure (and every snuggle). I am a proper, gentle, lady looking for a quiet place to spend my golden years. I don’t chew, dig, or potty in the house. I take treats gently and enjoy relaxing, watching birds, being brushed, and sleeping on a nice, soft bed. I’d prefer to be your only dog since I think others aren’t as refined as I am, but I’m happy to calmly welcome human guests and show them how well I walk on a leash and sit. Puppies are cute, easy to love and sometimes goofy. I know because I’m surrounded by puppies! They’re my siblings! And there are more puppies at the Animal League, too. I hear them playing and sometimes I can smell them because, well, I’m a dog. Yes, I’m still little, with lots to learn, and needing a daily puppy portion of cuddling, playing, and reminders that I’m safe and loved. I’m Ferrari, one of the Car litter girls, and old enough to meet people now. And if another puppy is your favorite, that’s okay. There are puppies here of different sizes, personalities, colors, genders, and we all need happy homes to grow up in.
