CINNAMON is a happy, affectionate, and social 14-month-old, 40-pound, terrier mix female who was born to rescued mom who would be better in a home with fewer animals. She is crate trained, leash trained, and house trained (asks to go out). She is working on obedience training but knows “off” and “crate.” She is in good health, spayed, up to date on shots and medical records are available. Cinnamon is very good with dogs, cats, and older children. She can be shy at first with strangers but is a very sweet, gentle, and tender-hearted girl.

There is no adoption fee.

If you will welcome Cinnamon into a loving home as part of your family, please call Pamela at 602-750-9909 or email 7509909@gmail.com.

Hi… my name is Blue Bayou,

When you look in my blue eyes, I hope you see a future friend, even if you see some leftover wariness at first. You see, in my past—well, suffice to say that not all homes are happy and sometimes kindness is hard to find. But today I know the joy of being rescued! Oh, I’m still shy, but after just a few days, I started learning that it’s okay to let someone care about me and to care about them in return. Other dogs relax and have fun, and I’m learning to do that, too! I’m a chocolate brown Chesapeake Bay Retriever male, born in 2014, and someday I’ll be happy at home forever. And maybe the one who gives me that home—the one I’ll love beyond measure—will be you!

Hi… my name is Bruce (boy),

Bruce Boy has earned his AKC Canine Good Citizen certificate.

A lady rescued me from a man she saw kicking and yelling at me. But here, happily, I’ve learned to trust people again. Volunteers call me “Gentle, Loving, and Laid Back.” Yep, I’m all that! Plus, I enjoy all kinds of toys, playing fetch, and learning, but I especially love being with people. And I’ve been calm around some other dogs (not all, but some). I don’t mean to brag, but I’m really smart! I’ve earned my Canine Good Citizen certificate, so I know sit, stay, and several other commands. I also walk nicely on the leash. All these things and more, I’ll do for you and with you. Do come visit me; stay awhile; then take me home with you. Let me give you my love and a new sense of joy!

Hi… my name is Pretty Girl,

Adopted 5-11-19

You may notice I have a few scars, but those represent old, healed wounds from the past. I’ve known lots of love since then. My original rescuer had intended to help me for just a while, but then his dog, Blue, and I became great buddies, as we are to this day. When our person had some problems and couldn’t keep us, Blue and I came here, and now I have many more new friends. I’ve found people can be great for fun, and for attention—when someone speaks kindly and pets me, all’s right with my world. Already a good walker, I’ll gladly learn more ways to please you. Born in early 2017, I’m eager to join your active life; and as a very sweet dog, I’d be forever happy just being yours.

Hi… my name is Cody,

Adopted to Humane Society 2-7-19

Although I’m pretty good at observing my surroundings, somehow I became lost. A kind man took me in, but after about six weeks, his dog and I no longer got along and that’s when I came here—a Lab mix male, probably born around June 2016, chocolate and white with amber eyes that are watching to see if you might like me. My finder said I was housetrained, and knew commands like “sit” and “kennel.” I’ve probably not had any experience with children, but I do like to play fetch, ball, and find it. And, of course, what I want to find most is a home—that place where we watch out for each other, have fun and take life’s happy trails together. May we please meet soon? I think we’d make a great match!
