Hi… my name is Ellie,

After mom passed away we four cats were too much for dad to care for. We all came to The Animal League hoping for a new beginning. I’m a little frightened right now in my new room, and I’ve been hiding out in a cubby down low on the floor. However, the volunteers come around to pet me and I like their attention. Mom didn’t let me miss any meals so I’m a big girl, with a pretty grey-ish coat. If I were to land in a quieter home with a patient human, I think I would come right out of my shell. Give me a chance?

Hi… my name is Show Off,

FIV Positive – COMES WITH VET CARE SUPPORT FOR LIFE

I’ve had quite the journey over the last few months! I showed up hungry and pregnant in a backyard in Tubac, looking for food and TLC. The nice woman brought me to The Animal League and I was being pampered as a mama cat to-be should.  Despite that care I lost my kittens. There won’t be more kittens for me so I was a little sad! However the volunteers all commented on how sweet I was.  I purr when petted or brushed. My eyes are a beautiful aqua. One thing about me though, I need to be an only cat because I have Feline Immunodeficiency Virus. However, I do come with Vet Care Support for Life.

Hi… my name is Cadence,

RAINBOW BRIDGE 11-26-24

Upon my arrival at The Animal League, I was pronounced a perfect, amenable feline! What more could you want? I have a lovely, soft fur coat. As a stray, no one knows how I lost my home. For several months I was fed and watered by my rescuer in her neighborhood until her dogs broke through the screen several times to get to me! Yikes! No more dogs for me. My perfect home includes all the comforts indoors: food, water, a comfy bed (perhaps yours?) and lots of loving attention. Perhaps my name refers to my purr sounding like a musical phrase. We could make “Good Vibrations” together. How about it? I’m ready to meet you! Bonus: I come with Vet Care Support for Life!

Hi… my name is Taffy,

Adopted 6-13-24

They found me roaming around a cemetery and felt I could use a better home—I agree! I’m not sure how I got there, but I like my current place much better. I am enjoying the regular meals and safe place to sleep. The volunteers can pick me up and hold me a little, and I really like the chin scratches. My short coat is a mixture of greys and I have a creamy bib. At my young age I probably would like an active home, where I can run off my energy and play to my heart’s content. Does that sound like your home?  Let’s meet and get acquainted.

Hi… my name is Ariel,

Adopted with Ace 1-24-25

When my buddy Ace and I arrived at The Animal League, we were shy and fearful. No wonder! We were rescued from a motel in Oklahoma City. For a while we lived in a foster home with adults and other cats, but no children or dogs visited. I liked to play with small toys and to recline in my cat tree. At The Animal League, you may find me in a cubby napping. I’ve become quite a friendly, fluffy lady who enjoys human companionship. Plus, I’m drop-dead-gorgeous! Ready to meet me? My bonded companion Ace and I are ready to meet you! We would be so happy to go home with you!

Hi… my name is Peanut,

Friendly? Check. Beautiful? Check. Playful? Check.  Lap cat? Check. I”m one perfect, petite cat who is just waiting to meet you. My mama and I were found under a bush in a front yard in Rancho Sahuarita. We must have been dumped there.   Although our rescuer posted our whereabouts online, no one claimed us, so she wisely brought us to The Animal League. My mama is pregnant so will be cared for in a foster home. However, I am ready to be adopted! I have so much playfulness in me and am just so cute that you will want to take me home with you! I would love that! Please come in and let’s make a deal.
