Hi… my name is Canary (aka Leah),

Adopted 6-27-18

You don’t get a better recommendation than “Canary is EXCEPTIONALLY people friendly, actively seeks your companionship, and LOVES being in laps!” If you’re someone who wants a feline who does her own thing, well, I’m not going to be your dream date! On the other hand, if purrs and a warm-bodied friend is what you crave, I’m raising my paw! My dad developed allergies to me after 18 months, so now I’m back again, looking for my new best friend. Oh, and my arresting combination of a dilute tortoiseshell body and tabby tail might also persuade you to make your home my last. At just 3 years old, there’ll be many happy years ahead for us both!

Hi… my name is Caper,

Adopted January 30, 2016

Having been born in the wild (well, Sahuarita isn’t exactly “wild,” but you get my drift!), you can understand how I might be a smidge shy with new people at first. I was found, along with my mom and two siblings, when we were only a few weeks old and were cared for until we were old enough to be adopted. Our rescuers found homes for my siblings, but since the family was moving, they had to bring mom and me here. I’m an unusual “dilute” torti girl who loves to cuddle once I get to know you and, as my human mom said, “will eat absolutely anything!” So all I need is a little bit of time, a whole lot of love, and you to make my life complete!

Hi… my name is Willow.

Adopted August 22, 2015

The people who adopted me when I was a kitten promised I’d always be an indoor cat, but when they started letting me outside and I began bringing them lots of mice and bird “presents,” they weren’t at all happy! Well it’s probably a good thing that they weren’t thrilled about that, since if they’d kept me, I undoubtedly would have had a lot shorter life! They did say, though, that I had “great behavior” otherwise, so now’s your chance to meet and fall in love with me and make sure that I have a safe, happy, indoor-only life where I can spend many long years entertaining you. I’m a strikingly marked dilute torti girl, now 14 months old, and want nothing more in life than to “feel the love” I deserve!

P. S. My baby picture is the last one of the group.

Hi… my name is Milani.

Adopted July 2, 2015

My human mom was one of those people who never met an animal she didn’t like, and, as those things go, she ended up with a few too many. After my sister, Flower, and I were born, she finally decided enough was enough and asked TALGV to find us homes. We were just wee babes when we arrived (we’re still pretty much that now), so we lived with a foster mom (who named us for cruelty-free brands of cosmetics!), and she said that we were totally delightful, typically inventive and curious kids who would add tons of vibrancy to anyone’s home. I’m a medium-haired dilute torti girl with delightful “tickle-your-fancy” ear tufts who wants to spend my life charming you (and maybe even with Flower to help me)!

Hi… my name is Leah.

Adopted November 2, 2015

I may hold the dubious record for cats “returned most times to TALGV” through no fault of my own! I arrived as a stray for the first time back in 2010. I was adopted shortly thereafter, but my mom died a year later. I was adopted again, but that person had “too many outside interests,” and I came back one more time. Then, three years ago I was adopted by a couple that is now moving to a place that doesn’t allow pets! All my families have said that I’m a loving, playful, gentle lady (albeit a bit shy at times), and since I’m a beautiful combination of dilute tortoiseshell and grey tabby, I have high hopes that this year will see me in my really, truly, honest-to-goodness finally “forever” home!

Hi… my name is Precious.

Adopted March 14, 2015
Although my housemate, Parushca, and I lived with a dog for several years, my mom and dad’s philosophy was “never the twain shall meet” and kept us separated, so the volunteers aren’t sure whether we’d be okay with a quiet dog or not. When our dad died, mom just wasn’t up to keeping any of us (I think we were “daddy’s girls”!), so as they say in the personal ads, we’re “actively seeking” peaceful, new homes (our people were of the “senior” sort!) where we can be our old laid back, gentle selves. I’m a totally lovely, young, medium-haired dilute tortoiseshell girl, and although I’m essentially pretty shy, I make up for that with my loving nature. I you have a lap that’s gone spare, wouldn’t you like me to fill it?
