My past is a mystery. I was found in the Canoa Ranch area with other cats. All of us were brought here to be well cared for and ready for homes. And that is just what’s happening! Upon arrival, I got the full treatment: I had my “spa day” being cleaned and nails trimmed. I checked out to be a healthy, fine young guy. I am a handsome boy with contemplative eyes. I am enjoying the comforts of beds, meals and the security that I lacked in the desert. (No place for cats!) Although I’m not telling about my past, it is true that I am a survivor. I showed up on at a front door in the Houghton and Sahuarita Roads area, and some kind people took me in for two days. During that time, they said that I had no behavior problems and got along well with them and their dog. Sadly, they couldn’t keep me but fortunately they brought me here where I am waiting for my new home. Although I was “found,” there is evidence that I had a home before. Perhaps I got lost? When I showed up at a home in Rio Rico, the nice people there fed me for a while but then decided I needed a better home. Now I’m at The Animal League, adjusting to my new, safer environment. I’m a little shy but I warm up quickly, and I love being brushed and petted. I have beautiful golden eyes. When they checked me out here, they found I was FIV positive, which means I have the added benefit of Vet Care Support for Life. I’m really in good shape, and since FIV can only be spread by a deep bite wound, I am able to live with other cats. Come let me show you my charms!

A handsome cat am I! Check out my adorable face. Come pet me, give me treats and I will meow for more. I was on my own for who-knows-how-long before I was brought here. Upon arrival at TALGV, I was given a thorough check-over, and they found that my teeth were worn and the pads of my paws very dry. So, they gave me canned food which I devoured and applied bag balm on my paws. My, did all that feel good! Although I am FIV+, I can live with other cats. And I receive Vet Care Support for Life. I am waiting for my very own home: could that be yours?
