Hi… my name is Windy,

Adopted with Cookie 2-21-20

It’s not always fun being one among many. It’s often great to have others to play with, but sometimes you miss out on individual attention, too – which, in my view, is very important! My disabled mom could no longer care for all the critters she’d accumulated, so she had a friend bring my kittens and me here where she knew they’d help us find new homes. My babies (Stormy, Cloudy, Frosty, and Snowy – we’ve been dubbed “weather litter”) and I are ready to embark on our new lives, spreading around all the feline joy we’re known for. I’d sure like to send some of that your way, so come meet me – it could be Kismet!

Hi… my name is Cookie,

Adopted with Windy 2-21-20

“I saw her with a kitten in her mouth and followed her and found four others. I put the kittens in a box and the mother followed me. I put them in my van, but the nights are cold already, so couldn’t leave them outside.” That’s how we got here (I guess our rescuer wasn’t up to keeping five kittens and a mom!), and I’m awfully happy we’re safe. I’m the mother of the “cookie” litter – they’re waiting in the wings for now, but I’m ready to go home with you TODAY! I’m a loving, petite grey tabby girl who’s really eager to be the light of your life – for the holidays and way beyond!

Hi… my name is Earl,

Adopted by Cat Care Volunteers as Hall Greeter 12-10-19

Comes with Vet Care Support for Life

If I’m not the poster boy for a “tomcat,” I don’t know who is, ‘cause I look like a fighter who’s gone one round too many in the ring! My family abandoned me at a veterinarian’s office after they discovered that I’m FIV positive, and provided no information about my past, but judging by my appearance, I’ve had one excitement-filled life! My personality never took any hits though, as I’m an absolute sweetheart who loves attention. Since I’m considered “special needs,” I have Vet Care Support for Life, but I promise to love you forever for that second chance at life. (And FYI, I can live with other cats, as long as we get along!)

Hi… my name is Britches,

Adopted 12-28-19

Comes with Vet Care Support for Life

If “big love” is something you’re looking for, I can fill that order in two ways: I’m big (16 pounds!) and I’ve been blessed with an extra helping of love! I lived with my mom and another feline friend all my life, and I thought “happily ever after” was going to be my future. Sadly, mom went into assisted living and they didn’t allow pets, so I’m here hoping that the “ever after” dream can still be a reality. I’m a declawed grey tabby gentleman who adores attention, and I’m so eager to share that love with you (oh, I also have vet care support for life now that I’m 10, so I’m a double winner!).

Hi… my name is Frontier,

Adopted 5-4-20

It’s true – if you want to entice a shy cat, sit on the floor for a while (or, for those who don’t bend that way, sit in a chair!). Curiosity will eventually win out. It may take a while, but trust me, it works almost every time! My siblings and I were found in the desert, and although a human mom fed us, we really didn’t have a lot of “hands on” time, and with so many other critters around, we were understandably wary. Happily, TALGV’s patient volunteers are now finding that we’ve got tons of sweetness stored up, so why not spend time with us yourself and find out? You may just fall in love!

Hi… my name is Skipper,

Adopted 1-31-20

Some “works in progress” may take longer to develop than others, but with patience, they’re often well worth the effort. That appears to be the case with me, especially since my longtime girlfriend was adopted and left me alone (she was a Siamese, so I guess more “trendy”). I’ve been keeping a very low profile ‘cause there is just so much activity going on all the time, but the volunteers are exceedingly patient, and they’ve been spending a lot of time working to earn my trust. I’m sure one of these days I’ll surprise everyone by revealing my real self to be just as loving as you could possibly want – so stay tuned!

Hi… my name is Penne,

Adopted 11-3-19

You wonder why some kittens in a litter get overlooked when they’re just as cute, cuddly, and (especially in my case!) beautiful! Maybe it’s because back when I first arrived there were what seemed like TONS of us, and I guess there weren’t enough people in the market for kittens at the time for all of us to find homes. Well, my littermate, Ziti, and I are still waiting, and we’re still just as sweet as we were as babies, and, if possible, even more appealing in our “maturity” at almost 5 months. My gorgeous orange and brown Torbie coat and delightful personality are sure to win your heart, so come meet me soon – I’m waiting!
