GURGI is a smart, quiet, and social 8-pound 9-year-old male Schnoodle who was found in rescuer’s yard about 5 months ago. Fosters are unable to keep him much longer so he needs a new home now. He is housebroken and asks to go out; he is obedience trained – knows sit and no and is working on stay. He is leash trained and enjoys walks; he is okay with cats; other dogs and kids are unknown. He loves to sleep at rescuer’s feet and likes follow her constantly. He has been neutered courtesy of TALGV and is up to date with his shots. Gurgi rarely barks, except to announce a stranger. He is friendly and especially enjoys attention. He does not particularly like to be picked up and is recommended as companion in a senior household. It is amazing but true that he has only one eye but he is so used to it that you tend to forget about it. There is no adoption fee.

If you will welcome Gurgi into a loving home as part of your family, please call Shawnna between 8 AM and 8 PM at 520-954-5390.

Mia

Hi… my name is Mia,

Adopted 7-16-18

You know when I was a kitten, I used to be really embarrassed by my goofy “Charlie Chaplin” moustache (being a girl and all!), but now that I’ve matured, I kind of think it’s one of my defining features! According to my people, I’m also known for being “in love” with eating, sleeping, and cuddling! My wonderful dad had a life-saving heart transplant, so to be sure that nothing interfered with his healing, my family was told to “rehome” my best canine friend and me. Life often has a way of throwing curve balls at you, but I know that since I’ve had a wonderful life and really enjoy people (even kids!), that finding a new family will be like hitting a home run for me!

Hi… my name is Austin,

Adopted July 3, 2016

One happy day not long ago, my new person and I left TALGV together, all smiles and blissfully unaware that our time together would be far too short. When she died, I came back here, where my many friends have given me love and understanding. They encourage my hopes of another chance at happiness, saying I’m a really sweet fellow with an easy-going nature that lots of people will like. At 99 pounds, I’m something of a gentle giant, loving and calm, and quite willing to focus on pleasing you, like being well behaved when we go for a walk. I’m a 7-year-5-month-old Staffie mix male with amber eyes and a sleek gray coat, a very handsome guy inside and out, who’s looking forward to my forever happy home with someone wonderful like you.

Hi… my name is Gunter,

Adopted July 19, 2016

I bet you can tell just by looking at me that I’d be so happy to find a forever friend. Maybe that’s what I was trying to do when my rescuer spotted me in her neighborhood. When she realized I was lost, she brought me to TALGV, where my search for a special someone (or maybe someones) continues. The volunteers tell me my day will come because I’m real cute—from my happy grin to my attention-getting ears (always a fun topic of conversation!)—and, most importantly, because I’m especially sweet, something that comes naturally to me and people really like. I’m a 1-year-old Staffie mix male, mainly gray with white markings, about 49 pounds, and full of hope that you’ll say I can be yours. Won’t you please let me love you forever!

Hi… my name is Viola,

Adopted June 11, 2016

Having your kids under porches these days seems to be the “in thing” for cats! Well, since it’s a great big dangerous world out there, that’s probably the next best place if you can’t manage to be indoors! At any rate, the owners of the porch I chose kept me in an Arizona room (I did get inside!) until my babies Trumpet, Banjo, Flute, and Oboe (notice a musical theme?) were old enough to be adopted, so now, hey, it’s MY turn! I’m a beautiful 14-month-old, “ticked” tabby teenager with breathtaking golden eyes, and while I was a good mom to my kids, I’m quite happy that the kitten population will no longer be enhanced by me! I’m planning to save all my love just for YOU!
