Hi… my name is Beauty.

Thanks for looking at my pictures. My bio is not ready yet but please stop by TALGV to meet me soon.

Hi… my name is Slate.

Adopted October 10, 2014.

My people are moving across the country to a place that doesn’t allow pets (why would anyone want to live in THAT kind of home?), so I’m back at my alma mater eager to find new “digs” with a lively, but settled, family. I lived with my senior mom and dad for three years, and they said that I’m still very active, playful and “kittenlike,” have absolutely impeccable house manners, and like to “chase things” (especially cat treats!). They said that I seem to be more affectionate with women (I particularly like their laps!) but not “averse” to men (whatever that means!). I’m a gorgeous thick-coated Russian Blue lad who will undoubtedly bring my own special joy to a family that wants some feline action going on!

Hi… my name is Andie.

I was adopted July 10, 2014.

Sometimes you wonder what people are thinking! My family moved and left me in the house with no food or water until, happily for me, neighbors investigated and rescued me. I suppose that was marginally better than being dumped outside, but still…! Thankfully, I got to come to TALGV, and the volunteers said that they couldn’t imagine how anyone could have left a love like me behind (I was super cooperative when they did my “intake,” which involved some poking and prodding!), so they’re positive I’m going to be a marvelous companion for anyone (there were kids in my family so I’m good to go on that score!). I’m a lovely grey Russian Blue mix girl, about two years old, and I’m just here biding my time until YOU come along!

Hi… my name is Amber.

Adopted May 31, 2015

After living with my senior mom all my life, It was quite a shock to find myself with lots of roommates! I’m a gorgeous, longhaired grey and white lady with, you guessed it, mezmerizing amber eyes! Once I get to know you, I’m quite the sweetie and will come when called to be petted and told what a beautiful girl I am! (The volunteers tell me this all the time!) I also like a fun toy occasionally, so a human to play with would be grand. A dogless/kidless home would be best for me, but another cat might be okay (although I’d probably warm up faster if it were just the two of us!). If you live a semi-laid-back life and would like a sweet companion to share it, please think of me!

Arrived June 16, 2014.

Hi… my name is Jeffrey.

I was adopted July 20, 2014.

I guess I’m not destined to share a home with other cats (I don’t have a choice here at TALGV, but sharing “one-on-one” didn’t work out for me!). My family adopted me thinking I’d be great company for their resident cat, but we never sorted out who was going to be “top cat” and since they only had me for a month, I was the one to move on. I’m a super sweet 15-pound Russian Blue who loves cat treats (you can tell!), petting, and playing with balls, string, and feathers. I also like drinking water from a faucet or fountain, and following you around the house. And to add to my charm, they say I’m a bit bow-legged! So why not let me do my fantastic feline thing with just you and me?

Hi… my name is Daniel.

Adopted February 12, 2015

I guess the man who found me in Rancho Sahaurita wasn’t in the market for a feline companion because I sure did my best to win his heart! He kept me for two weeks hoping my owners might show up, and during that time he said, “This cat is VERY well behaved and likes to socialize and be petted. I’ve never had any problems with him — he is very friendly and loves people.” So you’ve gotta think that I belonged to someone sometime! Well, since no one came banging down his door, now it’s your turn to find out how wonderful I am! I’m a young brown tabby boy (who was already neutered when I arrived at TALGV), and I’d like to share my special brand of furry love with YOU!

Arrived June 13, 2014

Hi… my name is Donny.

I was adopted August 20, 2014.

Here’s a hint for all you lost kittens (and cats!) out there: Sit on someone’s doorstep and cry your little heart out! Works every time! That’s what landed me and my sister, Marie (who’s already gone on to bigger and better things in her own new life) here at TALGV. We were found in the Los Arboles Trailer Park, so heaven only knows where we started out in life. At any rate, now that I’m here, I’m checking the visitors out every day trying to catch an eye and finagle a place of MY very own in their home and heart. I’m a darling, grey and white boy, and if you’ve ever had a kitten charm your socks off, you’ll know what you’re in for with me!

Hi… my name is Tigger.

Adopted October 8, 2014.

There are a lot of folks that move to Arizona FROM Wisconsin, but my family is making the move in reverse, and unfortunately there isn’t going to be room there for me and my other feline family. My mom said that I love belly rubs (if you say “tickle tickle” I’ll lie down and turn over for you!), that I got along with the dogs that lived with us, and that I’m very “bold and outgoing.” I’m a classic tabby and white boy, about 2 years old, and although I was an “indoor/outdoor” cat for most of my life, I’m looking forward to spending my time being a “homebody” with a family who will let me watch the world from the safety of a window or a porch. Won’t you give me that chance?

Hi… my name is Sammie.

I was adopted July 14, 2014.

When my family took off for Wisconsin, they left a lot of cats behind, and I (with my five babies) was one of them. Happily, I got to live with a foster mom while I raised them, and did she ever take care of US! I’ll let her tell you how she felt: “These cats are the most agreeable, well-adjusted, other-pet-friendly cats I’ve had the pleasure to foster. Sammie is not much more than a kitten herself, and would rather be out playing with everyone. She is very sweet, has a very loud motor, and loves to be petted.” I’m a tabby and white youngster who is yearning for a stable, loving home where I can be myself again. If you can provide that, you’d make me (and my foster mom) ever so happy!
