Me-Me Bella

Hi… my name is Me-Me Bella.

Actually, my “given” name is Me-Me Arrow Bella, but you can just call me Me-Me Bella! My brother, BB, and I came from a family of four Pugs and lived with our canine parents, cats, kids and a human mom all our lives until she crossed the “Rainbow Bridge” recently. I’m a purebred, 8-year-old lady who loves to play and am VERY good in the house. I like to take long naps, and when it’s time to go to bed I go to sleep right away and stay quiet all night (unless there’s something going on that I need to tell you about!). I’m going to miss my other family and they’ll miss us, but since TALGV wants my brother and me to stay together, I know we’ll be fine because when we have new people to take care of and shower our love on, we’ll be just as friendly and well behaved as we’ve always been!

Hi… my name is Heidi.

I was adopted on June 25, 2014.

When our mom died recently, there was no one who could take my brother, Simon, and me in, so true to its mission TALGV came to the rescue. We’re both pretty disoriented right now as things have been awfully topsy-turvy for us for a while, but I’m sure once we get our “sea legs” under us we’ll return to our usual outgoing, people-loving selves. I’m a charming, shorthaired tabby and white lady, and I lived with my single mom for three years (no one is quite sure where I was before then). During that time, kids of all ages visited the house, and I was okay with them, but basically I led a fairly quiet life enjoying the company of mom and Simon (who I really hope I can stay with!), so I have high hopes that there’s a kind soul out there who will give us both a third chance at life.

Hi… my name is Alaka,

Sometimes when dogs go “walkabout” it’s for a reason! The people whose yard I jumped into saw me running in their neighborhood for a month and knew my owners, but apparently they couldn’t be bothered with me so I went looking for love in other places. I’m a young, Staffie boy and although there isn’t much I can tell you about my history, the volunteers say that I am sweetness itself and will bond very easily with my new people. I walk well on a leash and am learning other good stuff, so I know that I’ll be a wonderful addition to a family that wants to have me a BIG part of their lives. I’m probably an “only child” kind of companion — I really love humans, but am not thrilled with other four-legged creatures — so if you want a guy who is going to stick to you like glue, I’m the one for you!
