Hi… my name is Cheetah,

Adopted 1-13-25

Originally, I was adopted from another shelter by a man who was drawn to my description that I liked food and most people, but I disliked the warlock who turned me into a cat! I love to be around people and miss deep conversations. I crave the human touch, but I quickly become frustrated in my new body and become overstimulated, so I nip and swat. Tread lightly and give me my own space. I need food, shelter, and calm love. I had that until my human’s living situation changed and he didn’t have time for my companionship. I need human interaction on my terms. If you like feisty cats, I’m yours!

Hi… my name is Nathan,

Adopted with Beret 12-21-24

As a kitten I was adopted by a nice person, along with my bonded companion Beret. Unfortunately, our owner died so we are looking for a new home together. At first, I was a little scared, but I’m getting more comfortable here. I like to sit in a wall cubby where I can see what’s going on. I’ll meow to get your attention and I like being petted. When you do pet me, I’ll purr my appreciation. I have a beautiful grey coat with a white chin patch and white chest and feet, and I like being brushed. If you believe that two cats are the way to go, please come meet me and Beret.

Hi… my name is Tommy,

Adopted 10-13-24

When dad fell ill I was brought to The Animal League with my buddy Oreo. We weren’t sure what was happening to us, but now that we’ve been here a bit we can see it’s not bad! I’ve learned that the volunteers will pet me and I really like that—I’ll venture out for more. Usually, I’m down low under a cat tree, surveying my new digs to understand what I need to do to find a home again. I’m a gorgeous fluffy Snowshoe, mostly white with brown and grey markings. If you come meet me and give me a chance, I won’t let you down.

Hi… my name is Milu,

Adopted with Bella 1-23-25

Gosh darn it, I was just settling in with my family and then mom got ill and couldn’t care for me. I lived with another cat, and was gentle with children. Mom says I’m very playful and then will “chill out like ice.” I like to perch up high where I can see everything—I’m curious about what humans do! I’m friendly and cuddly, and I like the attention from the volunteers here. My coat is a handsome fluffy grey. If you have an opening in your home for a cat who will play, cuddle, and observe from on high, please come meet me!

Hi… my name is Daisy Mae,

Adopted with Angel 11-17-24

COMES WITH VET CARE SUPPORT FOR LIFE

Once upon a time two little dogs—Angel and I—were rescued by one wonderful woman. She taught us what a “good home” means. After her death, we became TALGV dogs. Today, while waiting for our next warm and loving home, we’re staying with another nice woman and her friendly dog. We go on car rides and walks in the park (two of our favorite things) and just hang out together. Foster mom says we eat well, don’t make messes in the house, and are fine being left at home when she’s at work. We recently had a spa treatment (la-de-dah!) and are ready to meet new friends. Angel and I are 11-year-old Terrier mix females, who have Vet Care Support for Life, and will be adopted together. Please come meet us soon.

She says we’re good in the house, don’t make messes, get along with her dog and are fine being left at home while she works. For fun, we love going on car rides and taking walks in the park. Daisy Mae and I are Terrier mix females, each 11 years old and come with Vet Care Support for Life. We also come together—two little dogs with big hearts, who will be shy at first, but will soon bring a double supply of love to their forever home. Could that wonderful home be with you?

Hi… my name is Raven,

Adopted with Cow Kitty 12-5-24

When dad fell on hard times, he had to give up my buddy Cow Kitty and me. Sad for all of us! We had been together for several years. There were five other cats and two children in the family, and we all got along. They say I even would go outside for walks on a leash. My litterbox and eating habits are great and you can easily pick me up or trim my nails. Dad says I’m playful and love attention and affection. Here at The Animal League, I’m frequently one of the first cats to come greet a visitor. Come meet me and Cow Kitty and see if you like our “package deal.”
