TRIP is a smart, sweet, and energetic 50 pound purebred Australian Shepherd
who needs a new home because people who have owned him for almost 8 years
since a puppy have to be away long hours and don’t have much time for him
during the week. They would like to give Trip the opportunity to be in a home
where he can have more attention. He is obedience trained – knows sit, stay,
drop it, leave it, roll over, Trip’s bed, and come here now. He is leash trained
and looks forward to his two daily walks of almost an hour each and needs
exercise and play time to keep him content. He loves to retrieve his soft frisbee
and ball. Owners believe he would be best as an only dog and would
recommend kids over the age of 10. Trip does not like a crate and does not
get on furniture; he sleeps on floor in owner’s bedroom. He has beautiful
blue eyes and his handsome blue merle coat is soft, thick and shiny. He
is neutered and is up to date with his shots (medical records are available).
There is no adoption fee. If you will welcome Trip into a loving home as part
of your family, please call Penny between 5 and 8 AM or 4:30 to 8:30 PM at
978-621-2677.

LYLA is a smart, energetic, eager-to-please 7-month-old Heeler/Mini-Australian Shepherd mix. She is a sweet, people-oriented dog who was rescued about 4 months ago by a family who already had 3 dogs and 2 kids. She has an easy-care merle, black and tan coat, and her tail was docked by original owner. Lyla is a wonderful companion, but needs a new home since she is too energetic for her big dog friend who has recently become disabled. So although she is totally housebroken and crate trained, she has to remain in her outside pen most of the time. Lyla quickly learns new things but is happy to have frequent reinforcement. She knows shake, sit, down, wait, and will twirl around on command. She loves to play fetch and to carry sticks on her twice-a-day walks. She does not care for a choke collar and but does well with a harness. She loves children, being in the rain, and is an excellent car traveler. Cats are unknown. Lyla is healthy, has been spayed, and is up to date on her shots. There is no adoption fee.
If you will welcome Lyla into a loving home as part of your family, please call Ellie between 8 AM and 8 PM at 520-396-4243.

Read MoreHi… my name is Sadie.
Adopted November 29, 2014.
If you’re looking for a gal with an active mind, tons of energy (think of a hiking, walking, running partner!), and intelligence, well her name would be “Sadie”! I’m a striking, 35-pound Australian blue heeler who is a real “looker” with my one blue and one brown eye. I’ve had some professional obedience training (I know wait, sit, leave it, out, down and more!), and am perfectly housebroken, leash- and crate-trained. I’m still a high energy “puppy” though (at almost 18 months), so I’d probably be a wonderful candidate for agility training (keeps the old mind and body “occupied”!) in addition to providing lots of “together” time. So if you’re an experienced, “dog person” who can provide the leadership I need to help me realize my full potential, we should definitely meet!
Arrived July 28, 2014.
