I’m the kind of guy that makes people with multiple felines think, “Hmmm…maybe I should add just one more to the tribe” (okay, even if you’re “catless” I’d be a great addition)! Everyone says that I love to be handled (that alone sets me apart from lots of cats!), adore attention, and am just the sweetest thing since your mom’s apple pie. My dad, who was a TALGV volunteer himself, had to move in with family for 24-hour care, but I know he’d be comforted knowing that everyone will be sure that I find the best new home possible. I’m a delightful, declawed, 9-year-old orange marmalade boy and I’d like to spend the rest of my nine lives making yours is the best it can be, too!

There were tears aplenty when my mom brought my sister and me back to TALGV. She really didn’t have any choice though, as dad developed terrible allergies to us after ten months, so back to our old alma mater we came. Mom said that I’m playful, very affectionate, will “eat everything” (no picky eater here!) adore tossing my toy monkey up in the air and chasing it, and well, pretty much love all kinds of toys (at only 13 months old that shouldn’t be surprising!). Truth be told though, people are my real “faves.” My sister and I are really bonded, so maybe you’d have room for two of us, but if not, I’d probably be happy “strolling down the avenue” with just you!

It’s usually stray dogs that follow people home not cats! But me being me (outgoing and in need of shelter) I followed a girl to her home in a Green Valley RV Park, and she quite obligingly gave me food and water. Unfortunately, she couldn’t keep me, so I became a resident of TALGV. Maybe there’s someone out there looking for me (a tearful reunion would be awesome!), but if not, you could make both of us happy by adding me (and my practically non-stop purr!) to your world. At about 5 years old, I’m mature enough not to be one of those crazy, into-everything, kittens, but still up for a romp now and then. Truth be told, though, laps are my “fave” so how about sharing yours with me?

Don’t ever let anyone tell you that being toothless hinders eating! My dad said that I eat “almost anything” and that includes both canned and dry. (I had some serious dental problems a while back that necessitated their removal, but I’ve been just fine since.) My dad adopted me after I arrived a few years ago from a very crowded situation (twelve cats and three dogs!), so going from bedlam to one-on-one was just heaven! We’ve been a happy couple ever since, but lately I’ve had a few accidents, and since dad was getting up in years (like me!) he was finding it harder to care for me. I’m a laid back, affectionate 15-year-old gentleman (with free vet care) whose toothless “grin” is sure to enchant you!

There are lots of places cats might like to explore, but the shoulder of the Interstate definitely DOESN’T top the list! Thank heavens for my rescuer (named Samuel… thus me!), ‘cause he pulled over and picked me up and undoubtedly saved my life. So now it’s YOUR turn to do a good deed and make this energetic 1-year-old your very own! According to the volunteers, I’m “kind of a hoot” who just lives to play and then crash in your lap (for a while!) when I’m pooped. I also talk a lot (I’ve got tons of stories saved up!) which is actually just one of the many endearing traits we orange tabbies possess! So let’s get together and share all the joys of life!
