Hi… my name is Boomer.
I was adopted June 19, 2014.
When my family moved to a new house, they said there wasn’t enough room for me in addition to their dogs and parrots! My suggestion, of course, was to rehome the dogs and parrots instead, but they didn’t listen to me! I’m a purebred Egyptian Mau and my exotic appearance is just the beginning of the magic of my breed. People also fall in love because we have irrepressible personalities, are sensitive, people-oriented, and dote on our family. I’m a social butterfly (with humans, not other cats!) who loves laps, brushing, games, toys, and, well, practically everything about life! I’m also VERY smart, so if you want personality, looks, and brains, I can do all of that and lots more!
Boomer qualifies for TALGV Vet Care for Life program.

Hi… my name is Jasmine.
I was adopted July 6, 2014.
I don’t want to put the kibosh on my chances for a new home and life, but I have to be up front and tell you two things — I’m not your typical lap cat (well, I can be on MY terms!) and I’m an early bird! After being at TALGV for quite a while, I was adopted by a couple who had one other cat (with whom I got along fairly well), but I just wasn’t the hang-around-with-you type of gal they were looking for. Also, I sometimes like to play fetch in the early morning, so will bring you my toys in the hopes of scoring a lively game of “go get it”! Okay, now the “good stuff”! I’m a gorgeous Siamese and Oriental Tabby mix, who, is pretty much a “one-person” lady, so I’m hoping that there’s a special “early-riser” person (who doesn’t mind feline foibles!) right around the corner for me!

Hi… my name is Snickers.
A Snickers bar may at the top of everyone’s favorite sweet list, and I’m betting that I’ll be your favorite sweetheart too when you take me home! I was adopted by an older couple from TALGV when I was a kitten, and have been busy adding zest to their lives ever since. Sadly, dad died recently, and my mom is planning to do a lot of traveling and can no longer care for me. I’m a handsome Siamese mix gentleman who is “smart, independent, and lovable” (when I get to know you) and love to lie on my back (not the usual position for most felines!). I’ve lived indoors all my life (the way it’s supposed to be), so I’m not the “escape artist” type, and will happily enjoy the goings on outside from the safety of a window or patio door. If you’re looking for a calm and gentle companion, I’m your guy!
