Hi… my name is Chico, Adopted April 1, 2016 One evening, shortly before sunset, my friend Chiquita and I were left in a small wire crate outside TALGV—a terrifying and nearly defenseless position for two little dogs. Who knows what might have happened overnight, but, fortunately, someone spotted us in time and took us inside. […]
Hi… my name is Amor, Adopted April 26, 2016 To see us cuddle and play, you might think my siblings and I have had only fun days, but our lives started with a struggle. After a difficult delivery, our mother couldn’t care for us and bottle-feeding wasn’t working. Just when things looked desperate, a small […]
Hi… my name is Pearl, Adopted June 7, 2016 I’m a happy, enthusiastic girl despite losing my first home through no fault of my own. My person wanted to keep me, but the landlord wouldn’t allow it. She still really wanted me, so I was kind of “on hold” for a while, but eventually it […]
Hi… my name is Ginger, Adopted April 2, 2016 When I was just 3 months old, my mom left me in a wash. Before anything worse could happen, some humans found me and eventually brought me to TALGV. While with them, they said, I enjoyed playing with children and got along with cats, but […]
Hi… my name is Ray, Adopted March 25, 2016 I’m one lucky puppy in a litter of lucky pups, but that wasn’t always the case. My siblings and I weren’t welcome where we were born and we might have ended up trying to fend for ourselves (which conjures up scary thoughts of dangerous things). Instead, […]

Hi… my name is Luke, Adopted March 22, 2016 I’m one lucky puppy in a lucky litter, but it wasn’t always that way. My siblings and I were not welcome where we were born and it looked like we might end up trying to fend for ourselves (which conjures up scary thoughts of dangerous things). […]
Hi… my name is Guero, Adopted 11-14-16 Guero has earned his AKC Canine Good Citizen certificate. When my family split up, moved and couldn’t take me, I was heartbroken. In my way, I shed doggie tears about that and was actually shaking when I arrived at TALGV. But that was then. Today, I’m back to […]
