I love company and I’m an excellent host—friendly, a good listener, always willing to share my water bowl (although there aren’t a lot of takers on that)—so won’t you please pay me a visit? I’m a good sized guy, a Hound mix, and you may be pleasantly surprised at how courteous I can be—quietly giving you my full attention while hoping you’ll notice me. My previous people gave me up without complaint because they no longer wanted me. That hurt, but it’s in the past. In the future (I’m just a young guy, so looking forward to a great future), I’ll be someone’s devoted, loving companion forever. Could my special someone be you?

I may be tiny, but I’m mighty as well! My best friend, Precious, and I were rescued from a hoarding situation (twenty-one Chihuahuas!) where we were being attacked. We really don’t want to be parted because we make such a good pair (and anyway, wouldn’t two double your pleasure?). I’m a little shy when we first meet, but don’t give up on me – I just need a little time to become comfortable and I’ll show you my boyish well-behaved, playful, and lap-friendly side. I know how to use a doggie door, am starting to learn important commands like “sit” and “stay,” so come see us and we’ll make your visit with us a great one!

I am BIG, brown, and weigh about 100 pounds. Can you guess? I’ll give you a sec…time’s up! I appear to be a Rhodesian Ridgeback, about 21 months old. So I’m growing up, but still a big puppy with some things to learn, who’s also full of playfulness. You may find my tail is one of my most captivating features…trust me, it’s like a barometer of emotion! I also hope you’re favorably impressed by my impeccable genetic traits—handsome, muscular, and ready for the active life—and that you’re thinking it would be nice to have a big guy as your new best friend. You’ve probably already guessed it, but I’ll proudly say that since I’m a 6-year-old Boxer mix, I was named for that world-famous champion boxer, (Muhammad) Ali. He said he’d “float like a butterfly, sting like a bee.” Well, I don’t have much of a sting, but I do like to entertain in my own way–which is perfectly understandable since I was found in the area of Desert Diamond Casino. I can entertain you if you give me the chance to demonstrate my strong and muscular body at our hopeful meet and greet. Even though I may show off, once in a while I do love to reveal my nice and gentle side. I don’t believe being here at TALGV is a bad thing. When my former people were asked about something unusual in my appearance, they answered, “curly tail.” I love that! They might have said, “missing left rear leg” because I am, but I get around so well they instead chose the tail thing. Yay for me! They’re lovely people, but said their joints couldn’t keep up with walking me every day. I do love my walks and I’m no slouch in that department—can keep up and keep going, but also love when we rest and you pet me. They described me as “playful, good-natured, friendly, and obedient.” If you’d like more, I know some commands, was housetrained at my former home, and I’m cute as a button. So if you’d like a sweet dog with a loveable personality, we should get together real soon!
