I wasn’t invited, but for some reason I thought it would be okay for me to join another dog (and owner) on their walk. I followed them all the way to their home. Unfortunately I couldn’t stay with them, so I was brought to TALGV. I’m a handsome young Hound mix, about 3 years old. A volunteer recently stated emphatically that I’m a “really good dog.” She said I walk well on a leash and only tug occasionally in order to investigate a new aroma. I’m curious about other dogs but don’t react to them. I’m hoping that once you catch a glimpse of me and meet me in person, you won’t be able to ignore the fact that we were meant for each other. Then the only person I’ll ever follow home is YOU!

Boy, do I enjoy being a kitten! I like playing, jumping, and falling asleep at the drop of a hat—only to wake up and start all over again. My foster mom, who had me for a month before I was big enough to be adopted, says I’m wonderful. ‘Nuff said? Okay, she says I liked to play, but not too rough, and I always had time to stop for petting before I dashed off to play again. I liked laying in her arms and purred non-stop whenever she petted me or held me. Now I’m looking for a home where I can show off these sterling qualities and enjoy your company.

Quite a name for me, isn’t it? Do you suppose it’s because I thump my tail? I am a handsome lad who is currently very shy. I was abandoned in an apartment with my feline buddy, Daniel. Fortunately, we were discovered and brought to TALGV. Although I like to hide, I respond with loud purrs when I’m petted. I am known to be gentle and tolerant with children, but it is not known how I get along with dogs. I appreciate the kindness of strangers who assure me that there are humans who love and care for cats. Will you be the one for me? Please come meet me and let’s see!

Being abandoned in an apartment with my feline companion, Thumper, was very traumatic for me! Fortunately, someone found us and brought us to TALGV. I am a sweet, loving, handsome guy who just wants my own human to love on. I’m a great companion. I respond to petting with an “elevator butt.” I’m gentle and tolerant with children, but I don’t know how I’d react to dogs. Seriously, I just want my own loving home where my quiet, laid-back demeanor can be appreciated. I promise to be a great companion to you!
