Quite a name for me, isn’t it? Do you suppose it’s because I thump my tail? I am a handsome lad who is currently very shy. I was abandoned in an apartment with my feline buddy, Daniel. Fortunately, we were discovered and brought to TALGV. Although I like to hide, I respond with loud purrs when I’m petted. I am known to be gentle and tolerant with children, but it is not known how I get along with dogs. I appreciate the kindness of strangers who assure me that there are humans who love and care for cats. Will you be the one for me? Please come meet me and let’s see!

Being abandoned in an apartment with my feline companion, Thumper, was very traumatic for me! Fortunately, someone found us and brought us to TALGV. I am a sweet, loving, handsome guy who just wants my own human to love on. I’m a great companion. I respond to petting with an “elevator butt.” I’m gentle and tolerant with children, but I don’t know how I’d react to dogs. Seriously, I just want my own loving home where my quiet, laid-back demeanor can be appreciated. I promise to be a great companion to you! Tater Tot and I were picked up on the frontage road between Continental and Calle Tres. Tater Tot already left for his new home; now it’s my turn. I’m about ten pounds and two months old and very fortunate to be rescued before the unthinkable happened. Since I’m only a puppy, I really don’t remember where we came from or how we got there. That could be a good thing! If you’ve seen my photo you probably noticed how BIG my ears are. That’s nothing to be concerned about, because I’m certain I’ll grow into them before you know it. You probably also noticed how intelligent I look. The earlier I get trained, the better. I’m up for the challenge, how about you?

My family decided, since they couldn’t give me the care they want me to have, that it’s in my best interest for TALGV to help me find a new home. I’m a mature lady who comes with Vet Care Support for Life. I may be deaf, but that doesn’t stop me from being a happy, good-natured girl who absolutely adores people. Since arriving here, I’ve been on a diet to help me lose weight and gone on daily walks for much needed exercise. It seems that even though I may like Oreos, they are definitely NOT a healthy breakfast food for dogs! Not bragging, but I’ve already lost 20 pounds and I don’t even miss the Oreos. What I do miss is a loving home. You say you have the home? I’ve got the love!

Boo

Hi… my name is Boo (aka Spice),

Unfortunately, I’ve returned to TALGV, but I’ve come bearing good reports from my previous owner. I’m a loving, gentle, and exuberant female Shepherd mix, who recently shared a home with two other dogs, a cat, and visits from a 5-year-old child. I’m crate trained, ask to go out, and can use a doggie door. I know several commands such as “sit,” “lie down,” and “leave it,” etc. I’m good on a leash and enjoy car rides, playing fetch, and working puzzles. Sometimes I get excited and jump up but settle down upon command. Like most pups I don’t like being left alone too long. In my opinion, I think I could fit quite nicely into the average home. Do you have an average home? I’m packed and ready to go!
